I didn't know it was going to be like this. He promised me that I would see them again. He promised I would see my family. I never knew I would end up with these horrible visions; visions of my past and visions of things, places, and people I have never seen before. He lied to me, He lied to me. I can’t believe I fell for his trickery. I am only twelve years old, and it feels like my life is ruined.
It all started when my family mysteriously disappeared. I am not for sure where they went, or if they are even alive. All that I know is I miss them desperately. That stupid soothsayer told me he could show me how to see my family again. He said if I went to the labyrinth near the deep forest, I would be able to see them. He didn't tell me how, just that I would. Now here I am, having visions, and I have no idea where my family is. The middle of the labyrinth was supposed to lead me to them, but here I am hurting and still alone, all alone. I was sent to look for my family, but all I saw was a shrine, one with a very large blue gem on it. The gem messed with my head, it made me feel confused and angry. I didn't take it, because I knew something was wrong. Now, here I am, seeing visions and still alone... or so I thought.
All of the sudden, I felt a very sharp pain, one that felt like my head was being stabbed with a knife. Then they were back, the visions. Visions of a baby crying, hopelessly, in need of help. It made me feel bad. I wanted to help him, but it was no use. It was all a vision. All of the sudden, it felt as if something was going to jump out of my chest. That was when I knew. I knew I was different now. I had been cursed with a wraith. I slowly began to understand what was wrong with me. It was that blue light, the one coming from that gem. I knew it was bad, I knew something was wrong. Wraiths are greedy like that, they take over and try to control you, control your thoughts and become you. But for some reason, this time, the wraith couldn't completely control me. He seemed to be jumping in and out of my body.
Then I realized that he was trying to tell me something. He was trying, somehow, to communicate
