About this ebook

Every now and then we hear about one or two start-ups making waves. News like that tends to motivate aspiring entrepreneurs to take the bold step of launching out. What the news doesn’t tell you is the fact that those wave making start-ups represent less than 5% of businesses that were founded about the same time. Yes, 75% of start-ups never make it out of their ground breaking stage of existence. A number of factors are responsible for this, but the underlining fact is that it takes more than a great idea or product to become a great business. You need to know what to do and what not to do with that great idea or product of yours. These are the facts presented in this book.

    PROLOgUE

    Wanted! Wanted! Wanted!

    A virtuous woman

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Proverb 31:10.

There is a search! A Heavenly searchlight upon the Earth!

A divine, diligent, dedicated search! God is looking for something!

The host of angels in heaven are on a search!

The Eyes of the LORD runs to and fro

Searching every part of the Earth

Looking and seeking carefully and thoroughly

A search for what? A search for who?

It is a search for a virtuous woman!

    There are many women everywhere

But God needs a woman- a virtuous one

A virtuous woman-the need of God

She is God’s solution to the decay of the world

A virtuous woman-the need of the world

A virtuous woman-the need of the people

The world is suffering; people are wailing

Because a virtuous woman is lacking

But God is on a search; a diligent search

It is a search for a virtuous woman!

The absence of a virtuous woman

The reason for the bondage of the people

The absence of a virtuous woman

The reason for the decadence of our society

If only God can find a virtuous woman

He will silence all the vices of the earth

Even when He has not found one; He still searches

The search for a virtuous woman!

In the days of Deborah, Esther and Ruth

In the generations of Mary, Dorcas and Rebecca,

God found the virtues of the virtuous women in them

They were used as instrument of righteousness

And silenced the activities of sin, self, sickness and Satan

    From generation to generation

    God has not given up

Godis still on the search even today

A search for a virtuous woman

Why is God looking for a virtuous woman?

She is full of virtues; it takes virtues to erase vices

Why will I be a woman?

And God is looking for another woman

I need the virtues that make a woman virtuous

Help me LORD to be a virtuous woman

Let your search end in my life

And make me a virtuous woman

When God finds a virtuous woman

A treasure is found; a saviour is found

When God finds a virtuous woman

He can do anything to any people

When one virtuous woman is found

The whole city of Samaria turned to God

Because a virtuous woman was found

Continue your search in my life LORD

The search for a virtuous woman

It is not a virtuous man, but a virtuous woman

A woman is all you need

Though looked down upon as a weaker vessel

Yet you need a woman; a virtuous one

I don’t just want to be a woman

But a virtuous one according to your heart

Don’t leave me alone until you have found in me

The virtuous woman you want, O LORD.

You had a plan to save the world

By birthing your Son, Jesus Christ

Then you went on a search for a virtuous woman

You found this woman in Mary

You found a virtue in her

The virtue of chastity, virginity and uprightness

    Then she birthed Jesus Christ

Make me a virtuous woman O LORD.

    INTRODUCTION

Fundamentally, it is essential to know that a woman is a precious personality, an enviable Gift from the Almighty God whose impact cannot be undermined or overlooked from one generation to another. The woman, being blessed by God in every field or sphere of life, plays a very significant role wherever she is found. The woman is an indispensable personality in the society; she is endowed and commissioned with great, unique and innumerable God-given potentials and responsibilities which no being on earth (including the man) can fit in.

In order to illustrate this point, I ask you four interconnected questions; have you ever imagined a world without the WOMAN? Have you ever reasoned how it would look like if men are the only human species on the earth without a single woman? Can you picture the setting of a family unit without a woman or a mother? Has it ever crossed your mind if the feminine gender (women or mothers) was not part of God’s creature in the beginning? If you try to figure out or find answers to these questions in your mind, you would see a world that is disorderly, uninteresting, unattractive, uncomfortable and above all, incomplete.

This is why God says in the Book of Genesis 2:18, ‘It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.’ This means that even God knows that the world (including the man and every other creatures of the world) is incomplete without the woman. If God, who is all-knowing, could not complete His creative work in the beginning without the woman, it means that no man, system, organization or structure is complete without the woman. This is the reason many things fall apart in a place, family, government or organization where the woman is not found or given her God-given role to play. Things do not work out the way they should be when the voice of a woman is suppressed, submerged or subjugated.

Therefore, it is very important to embrace the truth that the presence of a woman creates and makes a great difference in a place.

The woman was the last thing God created in the beginning. This does not mean that the woman was designed to come last in life, rather, the woman being the last creature of God implies that she is God’s completive work of creation. This means that the woman is a completer; her presence in a place is a mark of completion. The woman is a perfection of God’s completeness. When God sees a woman, He sees a mark of completeness (or completion) of His creative work. I dare to say that nothing is complete until the woman is present. No man, structure, government, organization or system is complete without the person, inputs, wisdom, intellect and the function of the woman.

Furthermore, Jesus’ ministry on earth was not complete without the input and impact of the woman. Apart from the woman being used as God’s vessel in birthing our Saviour, it was a woman who broke her alabaster box of precious ointment on Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair. It was a group of women that visited the tomb of Jesus Christ early in the morning of Resurrection. Where are the men? When Jesus resurrected, the first person He encountered was a woman. A woman was the first person to preach the message of resurrection to the world while the men and all the disciples were sleeping and snoring in unbelief. The woman is a vessel God flows through to do great things from one generation to another.

Understanding the value God places on the woman is pivotal to the realization and recovery of her destiny. The woman's value is beyond the ordinary or physical beauty or looks. Rather, her worth or beauty comes from within her heart; it is the unfading beauty of a quiet and gentle spirit which is precious to God (1 Peter 3:3-4 (LB)).

So, as a woman, the way you see and place value on your life is the way other people will see and value you. The way you place value on your life determines what you will become in life. God values the woman to a point that her prize is seen to be more than the rubies. As a woman, except you see yourself the way God sees you, you cannot become what God created you to be on earth. You cannot be more than the way you see yourself. You cannot be greater than the value you place on yourself. The revelation of the value God places on you is the first key to becoming the woman God wants you to be. This is important because your mentality determines your reality; what you have not perceived, you cannot possess. Seeing is key to becoming. The Bible says in Proverbs 23:7a, ...for as a man (woman) thinketh in his (her) heart, So is he (she)....

One of the strategies of the Devil in making women not to realize their God-given potentials and rise to the fulfilment of God’s purpose for their lives is the devaluation of their worth. This is why the society is structured to look down on the woman. This is done in order to make the woman devalue herself and lose her worth in the purpose and program of God.

From the passage (Proverbs 3:15), it is interesting to note that because of the importance of a woman, King Solomon used the pronouns, she, her, (which are the pronouns used for a woman) to describe WISDOM. Also, the pronouns, she, her, are used to refer to countries of the world.

One day, my children asked me, ‘Mummy, why are the pronouns, she or her, used to refer or describe the nations and countries of the world?’I know that you might have also asked or been asked this same question, why the feminine gender is used to describe countries. The simple answer is, there is a similarity between a woman and a nation. Just as everyone is traceable to a nation, also, everyone is traceable to a woman. Furthermore, just as everyone has a nation (or country) of origin, also, everyone has a woman (or mother) of origin. A fruitful and productive nation is likened to a woman because only the woman has the capacity to give birth to children, hence, the use the pronoun, she or her in reference to a nation.

As a woman, you are unique in the sight of God.
