Introduction

A woman is like a sun. The Sun is a yellow dwarf star, a hot ball of glowing gases at the heart of our solar system. Its gravity holds the solar system together, keeping everything, from the biggest planets to the smallest particles, in its orbit. The Sun drives seasons, ocean currents, weather, climate, radiation belts and auroras. Size and distance do not prevent the Sun from keeping everything in order on Earth. As a woman, learn from the Sun; hold on to your purpose, and be salient. Stop complaining and bickering; and learn to be stable like a sun every season to enlarge your territories in different sectors on earth. Woman! Be projecting like a sun.

Each and every woman has specific gifts given to her to be part of building society economically and socially. A woman who works hard will never fail unless she is not aware of her gift. Be advised: even in your struggle, though you have failed dismally, don’t give up, rise up. Rise up from mockery and slandering and know that there is hope for you in Christ Jesus.

As you read through this book with reflection and examination of your life, I want you to have a picture of this woman. A woman who spent most of her time next to Rabonni’s feet; mostly she was able to run away from those who mocked her by the grace of God. She believed that God of mountains is still God down in the valley of rising turmoil with storms, where confusion, rough time, mental illness, emotional despair was her daily bread. She walked away from the negativity and believed in what worked for her: the Word of God.

The Word of God helped her to focus on the positive of the great beautiful promises of God ahead and to devote herself to prayer night and day. This woman lost family, friends and relationships, but Jesus found her alone, broken down. Being humbled by the Lord, she learned not to use her own efforts anymore as she realised that she is putting more strain on herself. Therefore, she let go of pride and began to watch and follow how God subdued her enemies. She learned to depend and rely on God with understanding that God will supply all her needs according to His riches and by that God opened doors of possibilities.

What a wonderful picture we have of this woman whom God raised up from ashes and shambles. Therefore, brace yourself as you will discover strategies and ways of God that bring elevation. Commandments of God are very important to obey as a woman. We are called to live in freedom, for the grace of God is upon us, sisters. Don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature; instead use your freedom to serve in love. Obeying the desires of the Spirit of God is like holding lapis lazuli stone, widely known for its use as a gemstone, which is the most precious stone. Its dust contains nuggets of gold, which is very hard to find; only you possess such stone by faith.

The Ten Commandments are still relevant today; God gave us the commandments because He wants us to live a good and quality life which is peaceful, productive, saturated by overwhelming joy in Christ. As prominent women this gives us choices on how to relate to each other in Christ, also how as women we interact with our children. When women love one another, there won’t be issues of adultery where a woman sleeps with another woman’s husband.

This chapter unfolds the nature of God, revealing to us what God expects from us in conduct and thought. It will reveal the thoughts of God on adultery and guide you on how to possess God’s understanding and knowledge pertaining adultery and why it is important for you to keep away from such. Moreover, this chapter will teach you how to carry out good intentions, to focus and to work on elevating your own life, not to miss your life’s purpose in order to understand the move of the Spirit of God in your life. You are not designed to hurt but to love; therefore destroying another woman’s marriage is not your portion. God has not designed you to settle for less by undermining your integrity and exposing your body to every man but for a husband that will adore you for who you are.

I want you to understand that as women we need these commandments as we are faced with so many challenges in relation to socio-economic factors. These sets of rules as given by our Father in heaven are a steppingstone into a greater life of abundance and overflowing joy in Christ. They are a set of rules written to protect, guide our behaviours and define our womanhood. Woman! Be an excellent publisher of your own life story like Ruth, being rooted on the strong foundation of love and principles. A woman with no Scriptural principles is like a house built with no foundation.

Take note of this, that when you collapse, your collapse does not affect your daughters and sons; therefore guard against planting your seed on curses. Being called a prominent woman involves good character which can be found when you follow the instructions of God. If this book consists of all the great words but does not include the commandments then it will mean no good to women around the world. One thing I know is that a woman of good attitude and good morals is forever clothed with the spirit filled life and the Word of God. She values the Word of God and persistently follows the instructions of God which are commandments leading and guiding her to the best pathway of her life all the days of her life.

Good morals bring virtue and sustain a good woman to walk and to handle life’s situations with integrity. She is courageous, bold and believes that with God nothing is impossible, because the commandments of God through His Word have taught her to follow the teaching of Rabboni. She applies what Christ has instructed her to do, through clinging to the Word of God. A woman with no good morals is far away from the commandments of God. One has to understand that the Bible carries the Word of God that teaches us also how to apply these commandments in our daily activities. Furthermore, a woman who rejects the Word of God is regarded as an unbeliever; so a non-believing woman cannot be called a woman of prominence; only those who agree with the will of God are regarded as prominent women. It is very dangerous not to adhere to the instructions of God because you will find yourself making wrong choices and not trusting God and His instructions which will cause you to lose so much in your life. Don’t be ignorant of trusting in the Word of God because the Word will equip and elevate you to the higher level.You don’t have to be a slave to the devil because his ways lead to regrets, humiliation, physical and spiritual death.

Awake, O sleeper! Arise from the dead and let the light of God shine upon you. Wake up sleeper and stop worshipping other gods, stop bowing down to false images, marine spirits, and ancestors. Do not bow down to them or serve them, for our God is a jealous God, for this is a commandment of God.

Awake, O sleeper! from using the name of God in vain; you are not allowed to use the name of God for your own sinful ways to be met. Awake, O sleeper! and always remember the Sabbath day of your Lord your God, for this is a commandment of God.

Awake, O sleeper! Honour your parents for this is the commandment of God for us to honour every parent all the days of our lives.

Awake, O sleeper! Stop murdering others; you may murder others and destroy their hopes. Refrain from such sin, it is not allowed, for this is a commandment of God.

Awake, O sleeper! from gossiping about others; it is a sin. Wake up sleeper woman and stop stealing, because stealing delays you by allowing the enemy to steal your prominent gift, for this is a commandment of God.

Awake, O sleeper! Do not bear false witness against your neighbour; but love your neighbour - that is all is required from you, for this is a commandment of God.

Awake, O sleeper! Adultery is not allowed; don’t let yourself be controlled by lust of the flesh; rather be in control all the days of your life, for this is a commandment of God. Be inspired and be motivated by the Word of God; nothing can motivate you better than the Word of God. Commandments of God are the best shields of our daily lives.

Be content, be in authority so you might never experience any spiritual sleep that leads to bitterness and anger. Don’t be enticed to sleep, relying on a false set of rules set by the devil, full of fleshly temptation that will pervade your life into depression.

Be at rest because Christ has already laid everything good and perfect, for His grace works greatly in our weaknesses. Rise up and cling to the Word of God so you may be successful in Christ; be united with Christ and receive an inheritance from God. Woman! Keep God’s commandments in your heart and you will experience no failure. No matter the situations that keep gripping your life, trying to delay your
