A Prayer Of Salvation

Father, I come before your throne, and I bow down humble in the sight of you most Holy God.

I ask for forgiveness of my sins. I know I have behaviors that need to change. I need to change. I need to see truth, and identify who you are in my life, so I can have life, and life abundantly.

I do not want to offend you my Lord. I do not want sin to separate me from you. I need guidance. I need to let go of anything that hinders my walk with you. I do want answers to prayers. And if I can see these behaviors, and be cleansed, then Lord, to your glory!

I want these chains broken off, so I can live abundantly. Yes, Lord, sin, has made me spiritually dead. I want this life Christ promised abundantly.

Denial has made me cold in my heart. Hurts, sadness, being my own enemy has made me feel spiritually dead.

Take this stony heart away, and give me as you say a heart of flesh, so I can live for you.

I believe Jesus Christ, is your son, I believe, He is the way the truth, and life. I thank you Lord that He went to the cross for my sins.

I believe, He died, and He arose on the third day, and defeated death. Because of His sacrifice, I believe I will have eternal life with you, your Son and all those who believe.

I believe Lord, as I repent. I believe, in your promises. I will take to heart your Holy word and embrace to know you, to please you.

I make the commitment to read my Holy bible, the King James and to seek you daily in prayer. I am not ashamed of the gospel, and I want to know you more, and more.

I thank you, that my name is now written in the book of life. I thank you, that you are changing these curses, from my behavior, into blessings, because of Christ.

Because Christ is now my savior.

Chapter One

Before You Identify Other Behaviors Check

To See If You Are Spiritually Dead First

And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. Luke 6:18

I like to get to the root of things first. Sometimes, you just have to stop and identify the problem from the root. Now maybe if you read that prayer of Salvation, you can understand, and see the truth. With spiritual eyes, that know Christ, and you will understand Him, and what He is trying to bring to your attention.

I am a truth seeker, and I don’t always see leaders, or other Christians able to identify the root of the problem.

In fact, many sugar coat them. They are oblivious, to the truth. And this is the only way we are set free is by seeing the truth, of the matter of a problem and giving it to Christ.

But sometimes, we don’t see that we could be the problem or that we may contribute to a behavior. We may even blame someone else, for why we do things. But we have to see, if we want change, we have to do something.

And now, I am going to say something very profound, but I believe mental illness can be a curse, that can be reversed.

I have my disclaimer so I want you to know these are my thoughts, but I truly believe Christ can heal anyone or anything. Depression, and any kind of thought, that is not healthy can be healed. In Jesus name. But if you need counseling, I recommend a good Christian doctor.

But I believe reversing curses, involves, prayer and Gods word. And yes obedience to God. With all the heart, soul, and mind, one can find peace, and peace of mind.

This scripture just brings it into truth and perspective, and light shines on something, when you see what God says.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways. Haggai 1:7.

This brings perspective to understanding. Perhaps, you see a behavior in yourself. You may see something about you that bothers you. Yet, you are compelled to do it. You are compelled to give into this behavior. You struggle, and it is a fight, but you actually lose, and do it.

The Bible talks about strong holds and if you could relate it, in some places, you can also identify it, as a behavior.

The dictionary states stronghold as: a fortified place. (fortress)

This behavior may actually have you in a fortified place, that controls you, manipulates you, and you cannot always see the strong hold it does place on you. The following scriptures give more insight to strong holds, and I pray you can relate to them.

To see that anything we do against God, and His truth, will cause a strong hold in your life.

And by the following scripture here it shows Gods anger toward some of the behaviors they implemented, and did.

Perhaps you can see this in yourself, to begin the process, to depart from these things. To confirm if anything to yourself if you have participated in such behaviors that bring curses.

And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds: And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers.

Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands. And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee; so will I destroy thy cities. And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heaven, such as they have not heard. Micah 5:11-15.

I pray, to identify it in truth and love. And even if I do not identify it in my book, you know. But what you need to realize, no matter what it is, Christ can change it.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. II Corinthians 10:4-6

God can pull down those strong holds, these behaviors that control us. These imaginations, that can be manifested yes, into the physical from the spiritual. Which is something, I can see it affects.

The physical realm, your environment can be determined by the spiritual realm. This is why it is so important to do things Gods way. Take Gods word to heart. Be obedient. Pray, bind and loose His truth, etc.

But we have to see even in this scripture, we must bring our thoughts, our behaviors, to the obedience in Christ.

To have that readiness as it states to revenge the disobedience that may control us. So we can cancel curses, etc.

And sometimes it looks critical, but it has to be identified. It has to be told. You have to face the truth. His light has to shine on it. You have to be mature enough, to admit the problem. And you have to give it to Christ. You cannot change it by yourself. This is the key to understanding to have a solution. You have to see this if you want to be healed in your own spirit.

You want God to be your strong hold. You want God to work things out for you, change your life, to change the spiritual realm you are in which may be partially dark, or totally dark, because you give into things here and there that may not be of God. You want to trust God.

The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him. Nahum 1:7.

Yes God knows you. He knows all about you, but if you want a sweeter deeper relationship with God, in freedom from these behaviors, you have to stop, look, and identify it, the strong hold, or behavior, and repent, and give it to God to help you. He will.

This is the whole objective of this book. You are searching yourself. I cannot tell you personally, this is right or wrong. What I may do here though, is bring you truth about a behavior. That you might not recognize because to be honest, you may need to mature, or frankly, the enemy has blinded you.

You have to be able to determine this within yourself. But you have to know Christ is the only one who can change it.

You are looking to see if there is a behavior, you have that is a curse. You want Christ to change it, so your life can have meaning, so you can have peace, so Christ can turn it into a blessing.

Friends, sin, is sin, and it can begin right here as the root. If it is identified as something else, it is hard to bring a remedy. It is like putting a band-aid on a cut artery.

You need to fix that artery, or one does not have a chance, and would die. And bleed out. We don’t want to die even physically, without having spiritual life that comes from Christ.

For He is the way the truth and life. John 14:6. You want Christ for now and eternity.

So you must realize you can have eternal life with Christ, but you have to fix it while you are on earth. You cannot play with a curse or a behavior, because the ultimate wage is death. So you have to see it is sin.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23.

So..Is it a generational sin? Is it a learned behavior sin? Is it rebellion, as a sin?

These things lead to behaviors, and they spawn off one another, so that your fruit will show these behaviors as curses.

So lets start with your soul, and your spirit? Are you Spiritually dead? I need to ask you that. I need you to check yourself out. So this book can help you.

Have you made things right with Christ? Or are you in sin? Are you in denial? Are you hesitant, to look at truth? Are you numb, cold, indifferent? This will be an indicator. No hope, no optimism that God can change things. This is a sign of being spiritually dead. Do you look at the things of God spiritually or intellectually? If intellectually, realistically you need to change that to spiritually.

Keep these questions in the forefront of your mind and heart. As you read this book.

Are you spiritually dead?

Everything that is in this book is incentive, or a way to identify behaviors, that cause curses. But you need to see who you are, to identify behaviors.

You do this to change those behavioral curses into blessings with Christ.

Behaviors. What prompts us to do what we do sometimes? Is it a taught principle that causes you to do what you do? Is it hereditary? Did you learn this behavior from your childhood, growing up? Did anybody teach you this behavior? Is it a generational curse? Is it passed down to you from one generation to the next?

Why is it a curse?

How you long for a blessing…..

You see this behavior that you have. You know in the back of your mind, it is wrong, but what to do? You don’t always understand why you do what you do.

For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin, that dwelleth in me. Romans 7:18-20 KJV.

The apostle Paul understood this, we want to do good but sometimes we cannot, because we are moved by a curse of a spirit. It is the spirit that compels you. It is that strong hold.

I say this, to get to the root of it. This is why we identify it, and bring it to Christ.

It is a curse, because anything that is not of God ruling it, in the principle is evil, disobedient, and goes against God, His commandments, and principles.

Identifying behaviors may come with wisdom, as you grow in Christ. You will need to see the spiritual implications. To see, that these behaviors do stem from promptings by the spirit.

And lets be clear, these bad behaviors do not come from the Holy Spirit.

Whether good or bad spirits influence you will really depend on you, and what you will accept.

What you bind and release, which I will talk about in a bit.

For there are spirits that you may not understand, but they prompt a behavior and may come against you. They will work against you.

But there is the spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit that can defend you. And this is why having your salvation in tact is so important.

If you can learn even in baby steps to take it to Christ and submit to God to trust God, to obey God, to love God, your behaviors will change and you will with time grow, if you bring it to the obedience of Christ.

The goal always is to have the mind of Christ.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that He may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ. I Corinthians 2:16.

You cannot have the mind of Christ, if you are in sin. You cannot have the mind of Christ, if you are choosing deliberately to disobey or to be in rebellion.

You have to know, that to deny the ways of God, or to come against the things of God. This will be your own destruction, and you will find you are your own worst enemy.

There are many factors as to why we do not grow, do not get answers to prayer, and yes even why we get depressed.

There are factors that cause us to do what we do, in our behavior.

You cannot grow if you accept yourself as you are. You cannot grow if you turn away from the truth, and deny it. To deny truth, or to ignore it, is in Gods eyes disobedience, especially if you have received it, seen it, but deny it.

You cannot grow to be the person Christ has called you to be if you disregard spiritual truths.

This is something you have to come to terms with. You have to want to see truth, embrace it, and turn from lies. Because some lies do not hurt. The reason I say that, is because sometimes when people are oblivious to the truth, they could care less. They deny it. Or ignore it.

But that is also a sign of a behavior of being desensitized. What causes that coldness of heart? This behavior that does not stimulate you, or makes you long to grow, or to change, or to change others lives, is very stagnant.

In this strong hold: It is a dead spirit that has made you aloof, uncaring and just existing. You are spiritually dead. You don’t seem to have an opinion one way or another, and so you just coast.

Or so you think you are, but what you are doing is by getting colder, and colder, you will come to a boiling point of no return. I know it sounds like an oxymoron. But it
