About this ebook

We started Spiritual Boot Camp to get people involved in the Word of God. We must work the Word if we want the Word to work in our lives. Most of us go to church to be entertained by the choir and the preaching and we dont put anything into it; so by the time we reach the parking lot, we loose the battle of life because we dont know how to speak the Word of God to our situation.

    WELCOME

As we begin this session on Spiritual Boot Camp, it is important that you understand that this is nondenominational. Our purpose here is to prepare you on how to use your bible for every situation that may come your way, troubles, persecution, hard time and poverty. Friends, if you are going to serve the Lord, be prepared for times when you will be put to the test. Be sincere and determined. Keep calm when trouble comes, stay with the Lord, never abandon Him, and you will be prosperous at the end of your days of trouble. Accept whatever happens to you, even if you suffer humiliation, be patient. Gold is tested by fire, and human character is tested in the furnace of affliction. Trust the Lord, and He will help you. Walk straight in His ways, and put your hope in Him. All Christians are Disciples of Christ. Disciple comes from the root of the word of discipline. Therefore, if we are going to be effective in our spiritual life, we must learn discipline. Discipline is a virtue, one of the nine fruits of the spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23). Virtue means a way of life. Your virtue will be, recognized by other people and by God, and you will be remembered for it forever; virtue provides an example for people to follow. When it is not there, they miss it. It has always been the finest prize a person can win, and it always will be so. It is the noblest of all good qualities a person can have. If we develop discipline:

    1) We can learn how to possess the land, overcome poverty.

    2) Learn how to allow the Holy Spirit to help us.

    3) Praise the Lord continuously as if He was standing next to us.

    4) Learn to memorize and recite scriptures.

    5) Stop being lazy.

    6) Stop procrastinating.
