I'm Mike, founder of The Motivation Clinic. Our mission is simple: we want to create the best way for people all over the world to discover their own personal motivation and put their “Best Version of Themselves” into action.I’m a coach, trainer, facilitator and author who has been doing a lifetime’s work of helping people find their own clarity in the pursuit of outstanding and inspiring goals. I’ve written seminar work books, training plans, assessments and evaluations of training quality. I’ve also written two soon to be published books: “How to Leave Your Job With Grace and Style” and “Wardrobe Clean-out to Freshen up Your Life”.In The Motivation Clinic, my role is to deliver workshops, coach groups and individuals as well as write and produce videos.A long time ago, I discovered that there were choices beyond accepting the status quo of myself. I realised I can create a better quality of life and a better version of me. This doesn’t mean that I’ve been flying high and free all the time, but it does mean that I can pull myself up and out from the banal,, the commonplace, the clichéd and the ordinary into dynamic, original and exciting ways of being in hot pursuit of worthy and inspiring goals. Put simply, I learnt to go from the ordinary to the extraordinary.All the systems and processes of The Motivation Clinic are techniques that I have used on myself for my lifetime’s expression of being the most extraordinary version of myself that I can be.When I’m not writing, training or coaching, I’m a smitten husband and father, my family own my heart. We have a much loved extended family that stretches from Australia to New Zealand.Both my wife Rose and I are fascinated in learning about other people’s culture. Your life is operating on a certain level, a certain frequency and this is often indicated by your level of motivation.
It’s amazing how different your life can be with a bit of focus. One of my clients has a saying: Hocus Focus!

I’ve spent the last fourteen years training coaching and mentoring coaches, coaching and mentoring business owners, executives, CEO’s and leaders of organisations. I’ve spend the last 30 years training and helping people communicate more effectively so they can have a better business and life. I’ve run workshops and mentored to help people deal with stress and rapid and relentless change.
I’ve helped people who have fallen into bad habits that threaten their family and their livelihood. I’ve worked with people whose lives have been complicated with the haze of drugs and alcohol. I’ve worked with people who have lost their marriage, their home, their kids and their cat. I’ve worked with grieving people, people who are not coping with our culture and society and people who are really successful.
