A Blue Pinwheel: In Search of a Child's Happiness
()
About this ebook
April is National Child Abuse Prevention month. Did you plant your pinwheel? All over the country, people are planting blue pinwheels to promote child abuse awareness. A blue pinwheel symbolizes a child’s happiness. There are so many children suffering in silence. There are several types of abuse. I believe emotional abuse is the most untraceable abuse of all. With the naked eye, one cannot recognize the sign of a child’s emotional scarring. Silently; it is crushing their self-esteem and self-image. If left undetected, a child could suffer emotional damage that could lead to death. Let us take a stand on child abuse by promoting awareness and prevention throughout the world.
