About this ebook
Over the course of many successful years in the business world, Rachel Ellyn met scores of wonderful men that were wounded by the breakdown of their marriages and subsequent divorces. She saw repeating patterns including the waste of time and money spent clumsily struggling to meet new women and have enjoyable dates.
With a determination to avoid repeating patterns herself, she found the tips, techniques and values it takes to recognize, to have and to maintain a successful relationship. Now combining her passion for writing and story telling with her skills, knowledge, and drive that lead to her business success, Rachel shares her off beat take on the world, and her findings where life, love, divorce and dating are concerned.
An excellent, lighthearted read for both men and women!

With degrees in both Finance and Economics, Rachel found wonderful success in the business world. But her keen curiosity and interest in others, coupled with the need for self-awareness, took her down the proverbial “road less traveled,” and Rachel shunned the “power suit and high heels” for comfortable jeans. (Truth be told, the high heels have stuck around, and are frankly a bit of a weakness.) Now, combining her passion for writing and story-telling with the skills, knowledge, and drive that led to her business success, Rachel shares her offbeat take on the world through prose.Born in Kingston, NY, raised in McLean, VA, and having lived around the D.C. Metro Area, London, England, St. Louis, MO, Madison, WI, and Sacramento, CA, Rachel soon realized that the world was as small as it was big. Rachel listens intently to people she meets on the street during the course of everyday life, loved ones who surround her, and to the beat of her own heart to generate ideas for her work. The results are a publicist's nightmare; writing in multiple genres including children’s fiction, flash fiction, romance, and suspense/thriller. Life, love, divorce, traveling pigs, and children are only the tip of the proverbial iceberg with regards to the subject matter Rachel tackles with gusto. As diverse and complex as her body of work, Rachel is congenial, caring, and loved by many, including her new husband Scott Mahurin. She is also exceedingly proud of her three bright, talented children; Irina, Gus, and Sam, and her less talented, but highly amusing pets; dog Pixie, Cooper, step-dog Jack, and cat Atari. She currently resides in Lee’s Summit, MO.

PREFACE
Over the course of the last few years, I have met the most wonderful men - Truly great guys - but so many were wounded by the breakdown of their marriages and subsequent divorces that they were acting like fish floundering in the sea.
I kept thinking of the waste in time and money that was spent clumsily struggling to meet new women and have enjoyable dates. What I saw was repeating patterns, different men but the same issues.
We (women) all want the Cinderella dream, the storybook romance, the Happily Ever After
but in many ways we ruin our own stories by ruining our Prince Charmings when life doesn’t go exactly according to the storybook.
I will be thrilled if this book gives you a bit more knowledge about women and maybe a few little tricks and techniques that enable you to have more success in your dating life.
Life can be good!
Enjoy!
Rachel
Hey, you . . .
Let me ask you, have you ever been on a date and asked yourself, Why did she just do that?
or maybe thought, What does that mean?
I know women can seem puzzling, complex and maybe even CRAZY. Really, we are very simple creatures, and a guy with inside knowledge
about us can rule the world - or at least the dating world.
Do you want to be the guy with superior knowledge? The guy who commands the majority of female attention in the room without the use of bravado? The guy all women wish they were dating or wished their husbands were more like? Do you want to be that guy?
It’s a whole new ballgame when you begin to date after being divorced, especially if you were married for a long period of time. So, whether you are new to dating after the end of a long period of marital bliss
or have been single and on the dating scene for a while, this how to
guide on women and dating is from a woman’s perspective – from my perspective. There are simple facts, tips, and techniques to
