The Old Biker
My name is Harry Snitzler. I’m 92 years old. I’m a Biker! An Outlaw Biker! I’ve been riding for over seventy years and I haven’t changed a bit. I’ve lived in this Trailer Park for six years. Today I’m leaving. I’ve got four hundred and thirty two dollars in my pocket and Rosemary, my Harley, is ready. She’s got a full tank of gas, two brand new tires, and every time I go near the front door she starts herself up and makes little happy sounds out her exhaust pipes. We’ve been here too long. We’re both ready for the open highway. I don’t know where we’ll go. We may head west and hook up with the Hells Angels or we may head for Texas and look up my old buddy Chung Linn
I’ve never told anyone anything about my past although many people have asked. I guess my obvious age and appearance fascinates lots of folks.
I still dress the same as when I was in my twenties. Old Biker boots, muscle shirts, and dirty blue jeans. I wear a red bandanna around my forehead to hold my long gray hair in place and I wear a chain for a belt. My arms are still heavily muscled and covered with tattoos.
I haven’t shaved in over thirty years. I catch a lot of strange looks and stares.
