ALONE, BUT NEVER REALLY ALONE

Fifteen months ago, I moved into my 25-foot RV with my two dogs and the few belongings that I hadn't gotten rid of. I had already been working remotely for several years at that point, and traveling as much as I could. I had done two years of research and saving, and I was ready for RV life! I planned to travel around a lot, visit national parks, hike as much as possible, and visit friends around the country. I also hoped to make some new friends; ideally, other queer folks like me who were choosing the nomad lifestyle.

What I learned early on in this journey is that the RV community is very straight. Years ago, as I began to search for YouTube videos and blogs to learn more about buying and living in an RV, I found the content to be dishearteningly straight. I found multiple accounts
