Illuminating Kindness and Joy
This book was written to help illuminate the path taken for moving towards a more joyful life of kindness. It is meant to give guidance to people to get around life’s roadblocks to joy and to give practical advice to help them embrace their life of kindness.
Each Part of this book has many meditative writings. While organizing and compiling this book I gave each of these meditative writings a topic heading and then I categorized each one into one of the nine Parts listed below.
Part 1 Introduction to the Meditative Writing Process
Part 2 Kindness Energizes the Soul
Part 3 The Soul Becomes Steadfast and Joyful
Part 4 The Soul Becomes a More Efficient Communication Tool
Part 5 Give Kindness
Part 6 Receive Kindness
Part 7 Choose Joy and Kindness Often
Part 8 Emotionally Nurtured
Part 9 Healthy Individualism
Part 1 Introduction to the Meditative Writing Process
I am sitting comfortably with my notebook computer in my lap. I am comfortable and quiet. Usually I prefer to be outside in nature, but I will write in my house very often. I have my eyes closed and I am focused on nothing. Inside my eyes there is blackness and filtered light. I look at it. I think of nothing. I become relaxed and notice this. I breathe deeply and notice how good I feel compared to just a few minutes ago. I relax further. I feel a presence of wisdom with me. I feel connected to it and safe. I feel comfortable and loved. I gently ask questions and wait for the quiet thoughts to come to me. I then type the results on the small laptop computer while accessing this essence of wisdom that is so loving and helpful. Afterwards, I get up and continue my day.
I started meditating and writing down the results of accessing my internal wisdom many years ago. I was meditating but I didn’t know that I was meditating. I just called it going inward. I liked it and I felt less stressed. I would sit or lie down quietly with my eyes closed and I would blank my mind. Then I would start asking for help for my friends, family, and myself. Soon, I started to get a sense of accessing internal wisdom.
I soon realized that this quiet internal wisdom was helpful in my life. I decided to continue to write down the wisdom and associated kindness and eventually decided to share it with you in this book. This book is the result of countless hours accessing this quiet wisdom.
Wisdom Topics
The types of topics that are the result of my meditative writings are varied. I do not find out specific facts in the future. I find out about thought processes and universal laws. I find out about emotions, values, morals, and a better more joyful way to live. The swirling universe is exciting and full of knowledge. I am writing it down so you can use it to your advantage. Those of you who are kind will become more confident that you are kind, good intentioned, diligent, moral, and dutiful.
This Wisdom is Offered But is Not Needed By You
This wisdom contained in this book is for your guidance, not for ruling you. You can take the knowledge from this book or not. Nothing bad will happen if you don’t take the advice. All of it is so that you have more kindness in your life. If you don’t want to use this knowledge you may have a little less kindness in your life, but it is not a problem. You already have a lot of kindness in your life, so a little less is ok for a while or forever. You can do what you want. Your life will be good either way. You do not have to read this, you can go do something else right now, go out, have a fabulous life. You are fine. It is ok. If you still choose to read this you will just have more kindness, more of the things you would like in your life. You have enough already, though. You are really a very nice person and you don’t need the help here. This is just being offered so that you can access the wisdom of the universe without meditating or for accessing more kindness in your life.
Here is a list of what the wisdom of the universe can do for people:
It can feed your soul so that you can use it more and more with less effort to communicate with your internal wisdom and with other people.
It can help you discern kindness.
It can guide you to a better life.
It can steady you during rough times.
It can inspire you.
It can give your courage to live fully.
It can sooth you.
It can fill you with kindness.
It can clarify.
