Chapter 1

Erectus climbed down the knotted rope from the roof and alighted in a lavish garden redolent with the fragrance of flowers. It was little piece of paradise in the heart of the palace, surrounded by high, stone walls. Ten feet away from him, under the canopy of an exotic tree, two beautiful, dark-haired women, moving to their own music, practiced the complex hand movements of an erotic dance.

Both women were oblivious to the man invading their sanctum. Their arms twined intricately and their bodies swayed sensuously, in dresses so filmy he would have been able to see right through them in a stronger light.
