    CHapter 1

Dr. Brandt ambled back to his office, tiredly. The meeting regarding the Professor’s future with the University had been rough, but a conclusion had been made.

Flipping on the overhead light, he started to gather the materials he’d need for his research assignment from the bookshelves. The fluorescent lights hummed in the silence of the office as he continued to replay the events of the panel’s meeting. Something about the whole thing bothered him. Professor Woods had bullied the panel, trying to get them to vote in her favor. Most of the members had been on the fence after the spectacle of the previous day.

Never in all his years had he been party to such a mess of a review meeting. The whole thing felt like a court room melodrama better reserved for basic cable, or maybe HBO so the reenactments could feature nudity. If he’d been in Damien’s place, he wasn’t sure if he’d have been able to resist Sabrina Carson either. It was the claims of the others he needed to sift through before the meeting the following morning.

Moving to his desk, he found a plain manila envelope with his name scrawled across the front. Curious about where it had come from, he sat behind his desk and unclasped it. As the contents slid into his hand, he gasped, flipping through evidence that would’ve made the decisions they just made much easier.

Still, he wondered where the information had come from, and whether or not he could believe in what he was seeing. Pulling his phone from his pocket, he started making calls to confirm the contents of the packet anonymously delivered to his office.

Looking at the clock on his computer, he sighed. He had twelve hours, and he was pretty sure he’d need every minute.

It’s Brandt, he said as the call connected. I need you to get here right away. There’s something I think you need to see.

I’m on my way, the answering voice responded.

Leaning back in his desk chair, he scrubbed his hands over his face with a deep sigh. Separating out the information and timeline presented in the envelope, trying to make sense of what he was seeing. The next thirty minutes or so passed in a blur while he waited for the arrival of reinforcements.

A sharp knock on his office door brought him back from the auto pilot mode he’d been in since making the phone call. Not waiting for a response, the door opened and the Calvary stepped in, walking toward the mess on Dr. Brandt’s desk.

What the hell is this? he asked, picking up a piece of paper from the top of the pile and looked it over. Holy… I’m going to check on a few things, but if this holds true…

I know, Dr. Brandt confirmed. This is bad.

Understatement of the year, my friend, but I’m going to check this out and I’ll meet you tomorrow at 7 so that we can go over our findings?

Sounds good, sir, Dr. Brandt nodded his head before turning back to his computer, his visitor leaving with a fistful of damning circumstantial evidence. Now to turn the circumstantial into concrete proof.

    Chapter 2

Even with the threat of the meeting the next morning on the horizon, Sabrina walked back into her Professor’s house that night feeling lighter than she had in years, a perma-grin fixed on her face.

Is it wrong to be so happy the night before you could lose your job, Sir? she whispered, her voice slightly slurring and her lips making bare contact with the Professor’s ear.

I’m happy, too, my little teacher’s pet, he chuckled, softly. No matter what happens tomorrow, my future is set.

Teacher’s pet? she giggled, giving him a grin she hoped exuded her elation. I fucking love that.

I love it, too, pet, he agreed, pulling her into his arms again, his mouth finding her neck. I can’t wait until you are finally truly mine, he murmured against her throat, his tongue trailing across the hollow of it and down to her collarbone.

Me, too, Professor, she breathed, sagging into his embrace. Just as she relaxed into him, he stood, abruptly and set her away from him, causing her to shiver from the loss.

Upstairs, I want you in only my ring and anklet. Kneel in the middle of the room. I want to see how far you are willing to go to show me what a star pupil you are, he commanded, desire burning in his blue eyes as he looked down at her. It took a second for her brain to catch up with his words, but when his eyes narrowed into hers, she jumped to do as he bid.

Yes, Professor, right away, she smiled, scurrying up the stairwell as quickly as her tipsy legs would carry her. She didn’t know if she was drunk from the champagne or the whole evening. Everything still felt surreal, like a dream, blurry on the edges, but bright.

Crossing the threshold to their playroom, she disrobed and knelt where she was told. The silence of the house made his every movement downstairs echo. Anticipation unfurled in her belly, low and sweet, as she listened to him walking, probably toward their bedroom. Soon, she heard the squeak of the pipes from their bathroom and she wondered if he was actually taking a shower or just testing her obedience.

Stoically, she sat on her heels, her fingers spread on her naked thighs, the diamonds and sapphires of her engagement ring glittering under the muted playroom lights. She couldn’t help but stare at it, mesmerized. Listening to the sound of water flowing through their pipes, she couldn’t help but think about it cascading over her Professor’s naked body, down his chest, filling in the lines of his abdominals, over the ridges of his cock. She shuddered with awareness as the hot moisture of her arousal coated her pussy.

Was he washing his thick black-brown hair? Were the suds trailing down that same path down his body? Was he ready for her, hard and engorged? Her breath faltered as a picture of his hand around his dick flashed through her, seeing him pumping it slowly in preparation of what he wanted to do to her tonight, the muscles in his forearms flexing with his movements.

A slight whimper erupted from her when the squeaking of the pipes stopped. She knew he would be with her again soon. The noisy floorboard near their closet creaked, letting her know he was out of the bathroom and dressing. How long had she been waiting for him?

After what felt like an eternity, she heard him climbing the stairs. Another jolt of moisture flooded her core as her impatience for their pending scene had her squirming from her position. Looking up from the floor, she eyed the door knob, waiting for it to turn, but it didn’t. He had to be upstairs by now, didn’t he? Her question was answered a few seconds later when she heard the door to his office open.

He’d never made her wait this long before. Had she displeased him? Was she being punished? He’d seemed so happy downstairs and at the restaurant. Had he already heard something about his job? Thoughts and questions swirled in her head as she continued to focus on the door knob, waiting for it to turn, waiting for her Professor to come and consummate their engagement and pending collaring ceremony.

Time ceased to exist as she knelt in their playroom, remaining as still as possible in her position as her Professor seemingly worked in his office next door. Her heart and body trying to call out to him, that she was ready. The bamboo flooring was hard, unyielding under her calves as the minutes ticked away in her head.

Finally, after what felt like hours, the knob started to turn, as if in slow motion, and her Professor was standing before her. She could see the bottom of his towel from where she sat. Apparently, he hadn’t dressed after all. Casting her eyes to the floor, she bit her lip as she thought about the delight waiting for her under that hunter green terry cloth. She tried and failed to choke back a wanton moan at his appearance.

Teacher’s pet seems to be the perfect name for you, he told her, moving to caress her hair. You are a very good girl, my student. Shall I call you pet from now on?

Please, Professor, she begged, loving that she was now His pet.

I do love it when you beg, he whispered down to her. Do you know why I made you wait for me?

It was a punishment, Sir, for questioning the timing of your proposal, she said, the reason for his delay washing through her.

Very good, you weren’t being very trusting, he admonished. However, I can’t express how happy I am, that in spite of your initial reservations, you are now wearing my ring.

    "Saying no was never an
