Kate Beckett is so excited about the upcoming dinner at the home of Stephen's law partner, Virginia Park, mainly because it is her time to shine as Stephen's new girlfriend in front of his peers. Her night of happiness, however, hits a bump in the road when Stephen has to stop by the hospital first to speak with his client, Hannah Ferrier, who is recuperating from an accident she had on her horse farm. Kate thinks Stephen is a little too friendly towards Hannah. So, when Virginia's husband, the handsome surgeon, Greg Park, turns his attention towards naive Kate, she delights in it. As she finds out later, however, Greg is way out of her league. Kate plays with fire - and her bottom is what ends up burnt.

WARNING: M/F spanking with a belt - and graphic sex.

    Dinner and a Spanking

Kate Beckett was excited.  She was also a little perturbed at Stephen for not being excited enough about the dinner party that evening at the home of his law partner, Virginia Park.  She wouldn't let his lack of enthusiasm ruin her special night, though, so she tried to ignore his fuddy-duddy mood, although she had told him earlier that afternoon that he was acting like an old fart.  He was only a little over a decade older than she was, nowhere close to actually being an old fart, but that fact didn't stop her from teasing him about it whenever she got the chance or actually calling him out on it when he did act like one.

There were several reasons she was excited about the dinner.  First, she was getting to dress up a little bit more than usual.  She had started taking some evening classes after finally getting accepted into the university's law program, but she was also still working full time at Stephen's law firm, Campbell, Blackstone & Park, and that left her with little time to do anything the least bit fancy.  She had bought a new dress at Macy's the past Sunday and a pair of new heels.  Stephen had said not to dress up too much - that it was just people she already knew and nothing fancy - but she couldn't help it.  It felt fancy to her.

The second reason she was excited was because she finally felt like she was one of them.  Them being Stephen, his partners, and their circle of friends.  Sure, they had been dating for a long time, but moving in with him and now being invited as a couple to an event like dinner at Virginia's made her feel accepted, and while she didn't quite consider herself their equal, she felt like she was moving up.

The third reason she was excited, and perhaps this was the greatest reason of all, was because she had yet to figure out
