Chapter 1

Ally glanced at Sophia who was staring at Miles and I, her eyes moved back at us then she said Caleb’s changing. Well that got our attention. Miles jumped up from the floor and grabbed the key from my bra and within seconds he had the handcuffs off, yes I said handcuffs. He quickly threw on a t-shirt as I slipped the mask off my face and grabbed my robe. Kicking my heels off I quickly zipped out of the room with everybody else running behind me.

Caleb is my brother who got bit by a werewolf the other day, yes I know you’re thinking werewolves don’t exist but they do and so do a lot of other things. Like for example vampires are real, I know it’s hard to believe but it’s true. I would know because I am one. I have been one for almost two years now and my husband has been one for coming up on 103 years. His sister Sophia got turned the same night as him and Todd my best friend from high school will be hitting his two year mark a couple weeks after me.

I ran into the neutral themed spare bedroom where I found Caleb lying on the bed with a look of agonizing pain on his face. His blonde hair was messy all over the place covered in his sweat. I took a couple steps closer to the bed and saw his blue eyes were brighter than I’ve ever seen before and his pupils are jagged and really weird looking. Caleb’s hands were all cramped up and contorted in ways a human hand could never do. At the end of his fingers his nails have grown into longer thick nails almost like claws. I stood there in shock and watched Caleb’s chest heave up and down and because he was breathing so heavily the muscles in his bare upper torso tensed tighter and tighter with every deep breath he took in. Caleb glanced up at me with tears spilling from his pain filled eyes and said, well more like growled Lil.

I knew Miles, Sophia, Ally and Todd were behind me so I said keeping my eyes on Caleb Todd can you get my cell please?

I heard him take off and Miles put his arms around me from behind comforting me. All we could do was sit there and watch Caleb suffer then seconds later Todd showed back up Here Lil.

Grabbing the phone from his hand I slipped out of Miles’s arms and headed into the hallway so I could call Ben. Ben is the werewolf that did this; he picked up on the second ring Lilly?

Ben, I think Caleb is changing.

He was quiet for a second then he asked What happened?

Pacing in the hallway I asked What do you mean what happened?

Something must have triggered it, something emotional or stressful. You just need to get him to calm down then the transformation will stop. Our transformations are emotion based so he needs to learn how to stay calm.

I leaned against the white wall of the hallway leading to the den So if I get him to calm down he’ll stop.

Yes but be careful Lilly.

I smiled I will, thank you, thank you so much Ben.

Call me back if you need me, I’m still close by. Good bye Lilly and I’m sorry.

Bye Ben.

After I clicked the phone off I took a second to gather my thoughts before I went back into the bedroom. Walking in I saw Miles kneeling beside the bed saying to Caleb You need to calm down. Caleb I know it hurts but you need to relax. If you calm down all the pain will stop, I promise.

I kicked Sophia, Ally and Todd out of the room as I sat on the bed beside Caleb. I said Caleb listen to me, his pain filled eyes looked over at me Caleb, Ben said you need to calm down. I know it hurts so you need to calm down for me please. I grabbed his right hand which he clamped down on and his eyes stayed locked on mine as his breathing started slowing down. I watched his pupils go back to normal after a lengthy couple minutes then finally after another twenty minutes or so he was completely back to normal. And once he was back to normal he gave me a little smile before he fell asleep.

Before I left the room I placed his comforter back on him then I left after giving him a kiss on his forehead. I didn’t like seeing my baby brother in pain. The moment I clicked the bedroom door shut Miles pulled me into his arms asking You okay?

I lay my head on his strong muscular chest Yeah I’m fine.

So what did Ben have to say? I only heard your side of the conversation.

He said that with werewolves their transformations are emotion based so he said something had to have happened to trigger this episode. Trying to figure out what could have caused it my first thought was Michaela. I pulled my head back so I could look up at his handsome face. Miles is tall like around 6 feet so I had to really look up at him, his dark brown eyes looked worried as I asked Where’s Michaela? Miles shrugged so I broke away from his arms. I realized that the only person that was missing was Michaela so I walked down to the other spare room and opened the door. With my vampire night vision I saw Carly my 5 year old niece and Owen my almost two year nephew sleeping on a pull out bed then I found Michaela curled up in a ball in the corner of the dark room. I ran over to her and dropped to my knees. I placed my hand on her knee and whispered Michaela are you okay? She looked up at me with her sad medium brown eyes and I could see that she was wearing mascara because it was running down her face. I wiped some of her tears away Oh Michaela, are you okay?

No I’m not, she said as she shook her head of messy dark brown hair.

What happened?

Since the kids were asleep I thought I would surprise Caleb with one of my new outfits that you helped me pick out so I got all dressed up and headed over to his room. I walked in and found him sitting up in bed reading his Mini Truckin’ magazine. When the door opened he looked up at me and smiled so once the door was closed I stripped off the robe I was wearing and his eyes widened in surprise taking in my new lingerie. As his smile grew he threw his magazine off to the side so I took it that he liked the outfit so I started to crawl up onto the bed acting all sexy. When I reached him he gave me a look I haven’t seen since we first started dating, you know that look that says I just have to have you then he leapt at me. We started making out which was great, he had this new vigour that I’ve never seen before but all of a sudden he got more aggressive which at first was okay then his body got really really warm. I pulled back and that’s when I saw the pupils of his eyes turn all jagged then his breathing picked up. A little growl escaped his mouth then he looked me in the eyes and told me to run so I did and that’s when I ran into Sophia and Ally as I flew out the bedroom door.

I sat down beside her and placed my arm around her trying to comfort her He’s okay now, I think you just surprised him and that’s why he started to change. Things will get better, he’ll gain more control. How about we go see him and you two can talk. She nodded so I helped her off the floor then we walked down to the other room.

After closing the door I found my husband leaning against the wall; he gave me a smile that he only has for me Everybody has gone back to their rooms so we’re all alone.

Miles and I got married after only knowing each other for a couple weeks and it was the best decision that I have ever made. I held out my hand to him Let’s go back to our room.

We walked hand in hand down the hallway to our bedroom which is the whole right side of the house. Miles kind of spoiled me when he built this house for us. I opened the door and stepped into out deep sapphire blue bedroom with white shag carpeting that feels amazing on the feet. There are pictures of our wedding and paintings on our walls plus we have our own personal Jacuzzi just outside our patio door. Closing the door behind us Miles pulled me into his arms So where were we?

I sighed Miles I don’t think I can get back into character but I do have a bag of goodies so let’s try something else.

I took my robe off which left me in a black bra and panty set made out of straps, it’s a little naughty. I grabbed my bag of goodies and joined my husband now just wearing his boxers on our extra-large king size bed with black bedding on the bed. He started going through the bag with his smile growing more and more. See earlier that day Sophia, Ally, Michaela, and I went shopping and since Miles is going out of town for work I wanted something special and fun for us so I got Ally to take me to the local sex toy shop. While Ally waited in the SUV with Carly and Michaela, I got us a beginner’s dominatrix kit, some games and some sex dice. We were playing with the dominatrix kit when Sophia walked in on us. Miles pulled out the sex dice and grinned Let’s play with these.

Even though I was worried about my brother I put the bag on the floor and said with a smile Okay baby, roll. He rolled the dice on top of our plush black quilt and got ‘Touch – Below Waist,’ he gave me a smile and grabbed me around the waist before laying me back on the bed where he placed his hand in between my legs and gave me a little tickle.

Miles snuck in a kiss on my neck before he said Your turn honey.

Rolling onto my side I rolled the dice and got ‘Nibble – Wildcard,’ meaning I get to pick where so I crawled over to him and pushed him back so he’s lying on his back. I crawled up on him where I nibbled on his left nipple making sure I didn’t break the skin. I don’t think this game is going to last very long but I got off of him and smiled Your turn baby.

Miles rolled and got ‘Lick – Chest,’ he smiled at me with hunger in his eyes That bra has to come off. I slipped my bra off and that’s when he pulled himself up on me.

He started going in for a lick but I said quickly Wait, then I reached over for the bag which had edible chocolate paint in there so I drew little designs on my chest and grinned Now you can lick.

Chuckling he took one lick and said Even though I can’t really taste it, it’s very yummy. Vampires can’t really taste anything but blood and it sucks. I’ve been craving a burger ever since I was turned and yes I could eat it but I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the taste and because our bodies can’t digest it I will have to throw it up, boo. Once the chocolate was all licked off my chest he said Your turn beautiful. I rolled and got ‘Suck – Chest,’ so I took the edible paint and painted his nipples then I went to work on them licking and nibbling on them making Miles moan. Pulling back I watched him roll the dice and he got ‘Lick – Wildcard,’ he smiled My choice, then he stripped my underwear off and went down on me.

After my orgasm I didn’t want to play anymore games. I reached down placing my hands on his face. I pulled him up so his face was close to mine and whispered No more games I need you to fuck me, and he did numerous times that night.

I ended up passing out from exhaustion at some point then I was woken up by the sweetest voice ever saying Mommy.

With my eyes closed I started reaching for a blanket but I heard Miles say Lilly you’re all covered up don’t worry.

I opened my eyes to see my handsome son sitting on the bed beside me as Miles read him a book quietly. Once Jackson saw my eyes were open he smiled Mommy. Jackson looks like a mini version of Miles, he’s got the same sandy blonde hair colour, the same dark brown almost black eyes, but he has my heart face shape, my pale colouring and a cute dimple in his left cheek making him absolutely adorable. Miles’s has dark sandy blonde hair that’s straight and hangs in his eyes playfully, and his eyes are a brown so dark that you almost can’t tell the difference between his eye colour and his pupil. Miles’s body is lean but muscular and he is very handsome. He’s got a nice olive skin tone that is a little paler because of being a vampire but it gives him a little colour and he has plump lips that I love kissing all the time. He’s the complete opposite of me. I’m maybe 5’4", on a good day. I have light blonde curly hair that goes down my back almost to my waist and I have a somewhat curvy body with a good set of boobs, smaller waist and bigger hips that give me that curvy style. Because of being a vampire my human pale skin turned a beautiful alabaster and I have grey eyes that are very prominent and unique both in the human world and vampire world.

Rolling my head over I smiled Hi baby. Is Daddy reading you a book? He nodded then he curled back up with Miles. Vampires normally can’t have children because once we get turned our bodies are dead, as in no heartbeat and no breathing, but when I got pregnant I was in the middle of my transformation, which takes five days, plus there was a full moon and Miles is my vampire soul-mate and that’s how Jackson was conceived, weird eh. My pregnancy was like any normal pregnancy, you know morning sickness and mood swings, and now Jackson is a year old with four month old twin sisters named Grace and Lizzie. When Jackson was around a week old Miles took me on a picnic to where our new house stands now which wasn’t built then, it was just a wooded lot. We were interrupted by a supernatural hunter who shot Miles through the chest with an arrow. Normally that can’t kill vampires only decapitation or exsanguination can so Miles would have healed but the arrow was poisoned so Miles got really sick. I asked an enemy of ours for help and he did help but he had an ulterior motive. He got the antidote and it healed Miles but the catch was the next time Miles ingested my blood it would turn Miles human and it did. So after a week of enjoying his time as a human Miles got Sophia to turn him back and during his transformation we made love numerous times and there just happened to be a full moon during his transformation so surprise I became pregnant again with beautiful identical twin girls.

Miles smiled Your robe is on the end of the bed. If you can’t reach it I can grab it for you.

I shook my head No I got it, I pulled the blanket up around me then I reached for my robe.

Slipping it on I jumped out of bed. He glanced over at me asking Honey, are you going to grab the girls?

Yeah, I’ll be back in a second. I zipped, which is what I call our moving with vampire speed, across the hall to the twins’ Barbie pink bedroom and grabbed the girls who were wide awake and just lying there contently in their dark brown wooden cribs. The girls look more like me than Miles, they have very pale blonde almost white hair, my heart shaped face but they have their father’s olive colouring and his dark brown eyes. So once I scooped them both up I headed back into our room where I breast fed them as Miles continued to read to Jackson. The strange thing about breastfeeding them is that it’s not milk it’s a blood mixture that gives them all the nutrients they need.

Once Miles finished the book Jackson laid down placing his head on my leg. Miles turned towards me So this morning I ran into Michaela in the kitchen and we sat there chatting about the kids and stuff and she said something that got me thinking.

Raising my eyebrow I looked over at him What did she say?

She said that Jackson is really ahead of where a normal one year old is supposed to be.

I gave him a nod as I said Yeah I know he is. Mom has brought it up a couple times and I just change the subject.

So I checked my baby books and she and your mom are correct. I guess normally around this age a one year old may take his first steps and Jackson’s been walking for a couple months now and his language skills are past what they expect at this age too, even though he’s not saying a lot he understands what everything is. Plus he’s doing sign language so maybe we have a little genius on our hands.

I wouldn’t be shocked because his daddy is so smart.

Miles gave me that smile that he only uses for me So is his mommy. So after my conversation I called Madeline and asked her about Antoine and she told me he was advanced too. She said that when he was a year old he was more like a two and half year old, he was already sleeping in a bed not a crib and that he was independent playing on his own. She said he was able to pick up words really easily too so we should really watch what we say now.

I didn’t know what to say after hearing how different my child is so I changed the subject Did you ask her about an antidote for our problem?

Yes I did honey and she said she’s going to look into it then she’ll get back to us. Our little problem is now because of Darcy giving Miles that supposed antidote that turned him human there was a side effect. The problem is now if Miles would bite me when we have sex it would turn him human and we don’t want that. See when a vampire feeds it can be very sexual so once I was turned and Miles and I had sex we would bite each other which would make our orgasms even better so now since we aren’t able to do that we have to really concentrate on not biting each other when we make love. Miles’s smile faltered then he said And there’s one other thing.

My forehead scrunched up How long was I out for?

He chuckled Just a couple of hours. I also got a call from Nicholas and the trip that Sophia and I have to take is going to turn into a couple more days, well almost a week. We’re going to be in Seattle for a couple days then we have to escort someone back to London by private jet so hopefully it won’t be a week but I’ll keep in contact with you anyways.

The girls were done eating and they looked tired so I took them back to their room for a nap as Jackson went back to sit with Miles then I called for Todd telepathically ‘Todd are you busy?’

He answered quickly telepathically ‘Nope why?’

‘Can you hang out with Jackson, maybe watch a movie.’

‘Sure I’ll come get him.’

‘Thanks.’

When I became a vampire I found out that vampire soul-mates can speak to each other telepathically which Miles and I can do then I found out that telepathy is my gift. I’m able to speak to Todd and Sophia too and they can speak back to me as long as they think at me. I know that sounds weird but that’s how it works. Not all vampires have gifts, I don’t think Sophia or Todd have one but Miles has a crazy sense of smell, he can pick up scents very easily.

I walked back into our room to see Jackson jumping on our bed with Miles holding onto his hands. I really can see what Miles is talking about that Jackson is ahead of a normal one year old, I’ve seen one year olds still act like babies and Jackson is already at the toddler stage and that scares me. Jackson smiled at me Mommy see.

He jumped into my arms so I said to him Yeah I see you baby. Jackson, do you want to go watch a movie with Uncle Todd?

He nodded enthusiastically and at that moment Todd knocked on the door so I opened it and that’s when Jackson said Odd.

Todd was my best friend in high school and not even a week after I started dating Miles I went down to Woodstock where I ran into him and we ended up telling each other that we fell for each other years ago which led to us hooking up and me feeding off of him. By me feeding off of him he turned into an addict and made his way to Toronto where he became one of us and he hasn’t left yet which makes me happy because it’s nice having my best friend here all the time. Todd is a handsome man who isn’t much taller than I am. He’s got a lean almost scrawny body, short curly medium brown hair and these stunningly bright blue eyes that go almost neon blue when he’s all vamped out. Todd held out his arms and asked Do you want to go watch a movie Jackson?

Jackson nodded again so I placed him in Todd’s arms and said Bye Jackson, have fun with Uncle Todd. Once they were gone I closed the door and turned to Miles I don’t want to be away from you for a week.

Miles zipped over to me and wrapped his arms around me And I don’t want to be away from you but I have to go, this is the deal that I had to make with Nicholas for him to leave us alone. Nicholas is the leader of The Council which is part of The Organization which is the governing body over vampires. Nicholas pretty well told Miles that if Miles didn’t offer to do this work for Nicholas and The Council that Nicholas would hurt me to make Miles so Miles agreed protecting the children and I.

I sighed loudly What time does your flight leave at?

9:55, but we have to leave just around 7pm.

I looked up at him Miles, Jackson’s videos usually run around 90 minutes so let’s make use of all of those minutes, he chuckled as he scooped me up into his arms.

Miles zipped me over to the bed where he laid me down on it and made passionate love to me. When we were done we lay together looking deeply into each other eyes, he brushed some of my hair out of my eyes and said I love you so much Lilly.

Smiling I said I love you too. I’m going to miss you so much. We quickly jumped into the shower where we had another round of sex before we washed each other up. When we were done I got myself dressed in a pair of grey sweatpants and Miles’s CBGB t-shirt. After grabbing the girls who were awake from their nap, I joined Jackson and Todd in the den while Miles packed his bags. Miles joined us when he was done and that’s what we did for the rest of the afternoon. We had our family time so when it finally got close to seven Miles said good bye to the kids then as Todd watched the kids I walked Miles to the garage. Wrapping my arms around him I held him tight You be careful and get back to me as soon as possible.

He kissed me then he said I will be careful and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I love you so much Lilly.

Tightening my grip on him I had a bad feeling sitting in the pit of my stomach as I said I love you too Miles.

I could feel some tears running down my face and he must have seen them or felt them because he pulled back a little Lilly what’s wrong?

I don’t know Miles I just have a really bad feeling so please be very careful.

I will. Miles gave me a couple more kisses then he jumped into the back seat of the Lincoln and after Sophia gave Ally a couple kisses she jumped in beside Miles then with Logan driving they took off.

I grabbed Ally’s hand and we went inside to join Todd upstairs and when we got up there we found my brother, Michaela, Carly and Owen sitting in the den with Todd, Jackson and the girls. Caleb and Michaela hung out with us for two more nights then they headed back to Woodstock. Miles has called me twice, first to check up on me and the second to tell me he’s still in Seattle so he thinks it’s going to take the full week but he’ll try to get home to me early. I guess they’re hunting down some rogue vampire or something but it scares the crap out of me, I don’t like him doing this stuff. Michaela and Caleb joined us at The Club the nights they stayed because I had to run things for Miles plus do my work, so while I was working I had my three kids plus Carly and Owen hanging out in my office as everybody else got to have fun. I didn’t think that was too fair.

I didn’t like sleeping in my bed by myself so Jackson has been sleeping in my bed with me. He really likes sleeping in a bed so I figure we’ll switch his crib over to a big boy bed for him. I know it’s way too soon for that but I personally think Jackson is ready for it and I don’t care what anybody else says, my child isn’t like a normal one year old child so personally I think the rules change with him.

Chapter 2

The third night that Miles and Sophia were gone I decided on staying home so I called Adam, who is Miles’s backup at The Club, to take over for me tonight. This afternoon while the girls were napping Jackson and I walked out to find Todd who was in his apartment over the garage. I stuck my head in hollering Uncle Todd, are you up here?

He must have zipped over to the door because he was there in seconds; the moment Todd showed up Jackson smiled up at Todd Odd.

Todd gave Jackson a big smile as he zipped down the stairs where he scooped him up before he asked So what are you two up to?

Giving him a smile I was just wondering if you were busy?

He shook his head Nope, I was just watching TV.

Do you think you could help me convert someone’s crib into a bed?

Todd looked shocked Is Jackson ready for a big boy bed?

I nodded and the funny thing is Jackson nodded too, I chuckled Yeah I don’t like sleeping alone so since Daddy is gone I got Jackson to sleep in my bed and he’s loved it, he didn’t fall out or anything. So since he’s been so good I figured he was ready for his crib to be converted. I know it’s way too early but my baby isn’t like other children and I think he’s ready.

Yeah I’ll give you a hand. I have to grab the tool box from the garage and then I’ll meet you in Jackson’s room.

I said to Jackson Jackson, are you going to come with Mommy or are you going to stay with Uncle Todd? Jackson held out his arms to me so I grabbed him and we headed on our way back to Jackson’s room. Todd showed up a couple minutes later with the toolbox and a bottle of juice with two glasses. When Jackson saw the juice he motioned that he wanted some so I put some in his Sippy cup then he went to play with his toys while Todd and I took apart Jackson’s bed.

After it was all apart we started putting the toddler bed together and that’s when Todd said out of the blue Just think it could have been our baby that we would have been doing this for.

I gave him a small smile Yeah I know but we didn’t say anything to each other when we had the chance so now our lives are different. I love Miles and I have three beautiful children so I’m happy. Todd, I am wondering why didn’t you say anything in high school that you liked me more than a friend?

He was quiet for a second thinking over his answer then he said I didn’t think you felt the same way. You liked Colin who was popular and good looking so I figured that was your type, not me.

We were right beside each other so I turned to him and placed my hand on his face You are good looking, way better looking than Colin. I was just stupid and I was scared, you were my best friend and I just couldn’t lose that.

You’ll never lose me Lil.

I could see by the look in Todd’s eyes that he was going to kiss me so I started moving back then my luck got better because the girls started crying, I gave him a smile I’ll be right back.

Scrambling to my feet I cut through the bathroom that joins Jackson’s room with the twins’ room to get the girls. I took a second to refocus myself then I picked them both up and took them into Jackson’s room where I sat down in the rocking chair and fed them as Todd continued working on the bed. When I was done feeding them I put the girls in their bouncy chairs and went back to helping Todd put the bed together in awkward silence.

Just as we finished Todd took the remaining pieces away to put into the garage so I said to Jackson So Jackson do you like your big boy bed? He smiled as he climbed onto it so I said When you sleep in here at night you have to stay in bed all night until Mommy or Daddy comes to get you or you can yell for us okay.

Walking back into the room Todd asked So now what guys?

Jackson was still lying on his bed so I asked Jackson do you want to take a nap?

He yelled NO! and jumped up so he was standing up on the bed.

Using my stern Mommy voice that I don’t like using I said Jackson no yelling at Mommy, Mommy doesn’t like it when you yell at her, it’s not nice. His face saddened as he came over and gave me a hug and a kiss, I pulled back How about we go watch TV, I think Sesame Street is probably on or maybe Handy Manny.

Jackson started jumping up and down so Todd scooped him up as I grabbed the girls then we headed out to the den. We were lucky Sesame Street was on so Jackson danced and acted along with the show while I held Gracie and Todd held Lizzie. Todd smiled over at me I can’t believe how much the girls look like you because Jackson looks so much like Miles.

I know, but the girls have the same eye colour as Miles and Lizzie has the same freckle at the corner of her mouth as Miles.

He looked down at Lizzie then he said Oh yeah I see that. They’re just as beautiful as their mother.

I gave him a smile then I went back to watching Jackson and that’s when I said So Miles was telling me before they left that him and Michaela had a talk about Jackson. Michaela says he’s far more along than a normal one year old so Miles called Madeline and she said that it was the same for Antoine. She just thinks that vampire babies can absorb more information than humans so we really have to start watching what we say around Jackson.

I’m not surprised that he’s smart, I have four nieces and nephews and I remember them at a year old and they weren’t talking and walking around like Jackson.

He’s my little miracle baby.

I saw him turn to look at me so I looked over at him as he asked So what’s on the agenda tonight Lil?

I’m staying home, I already called Adam he’s taking care of everything for me. Are you guys going to The Club tonight?

He shrugged I’m not but I’m not sure about Ally and Logan. Logan’s supposed to be picking up Ally from the lab then they’re heading back here so maybe since they’ve been busy all day they’ll want to stay home tonight.

That sounds good.

We continued watching TV with Jackson then an hour later Ally and Logan showed up with dinner for them and after they ate they joined us upstairs. After another couple hours of all of us hanging around together Ally helped me bathe the girls, then I fed them and we put them to bed. Next was Jackson, he got his bath then we curled up in the bed together where I read him a book. Slowly he started drifting off and once he was out cold I snuck out of the room and made sure I had the bed rail fastened to his bed and his baby monitor on then I snuck away.

Walking across the hall I stopped off at my room and called Miles he picked up on the second ring Hi honey.

Hi baby, how’s it going?

Slow and steady, we found the guy we’re looking for so Sophia is going to go work her magic to get him away from the bar he’s at then we’ll be heading straight for the airport, so wish me luck.

I don’t like him doing this stuff for Nicholas but what can I do? I don’t want to sit here thinking and worrying about Miles and Sophia so I took both baby monitors and headed back out to the den where everybody was still sitting. Ally smiled up at me Todd said you decided to stay home tonight so we’re going to stay and chill with ya is that okay?

I nodded Yeah for sure. What do you guys want to do?

Logan gave me a devious smile How about we play Poker? We all nodded so while Ally and I cleared off the table Logan ran downstairs to get snacks for him and Ally and the cards as Todd got blood wine for him and I, a beer for Logan and water for Ally. When Logan got back to the table he handed Ally the bag of chips and grinned So how about we make it interesting?

Ally asked Interesting how?

Logan’s grin grew Strip Poker. The moment he said that I thought damn it I should have worn more clothes today. When I got dressed this morning I put on a black and pink halter maxi-dress, a pair of underwear, a strapless bra and a pair of gladiator sandals. Four articles of clothing unless each of the sandals count as one each, well I hope so.

I gave him a smile Sounds good, you guys are all going to lose.

They all chuckled then Todd said Deal ‘em up Logan.

I took a look around at the three of them and noticed they all had layers of clothing on. Ally who is my best friend was wearing a skirt and sweater set with probably a slip on her tall 5’10" curvy body; she’s absolutely stunning with her medium chocolate brown board straight hair and stunningly beautiful bright blue eyes. Next was Todd who was wearing a sweater, t-shirt, jeans, and his shoes. Next was Logan in a nice sweater, with a t-shirt underneath and a pair of dress pants with dress shoes on his tall 6’3 muscular body; he has dark brown almost black curly hair cut close to his head and light brown eyes and he’s very very handsome.

We decided on who ever had the worst hand would take an article of clothing off. After the first hand which Todd lost he removed one shoe. The next hand Ally lost; since she wasn’t wearing shoes she removed her sweater leaving her in a tank top. Next was me so I slipped my one shoe off and the next was me again so I lost the other shoe. The next couple of hands went as follows Todd lost his shirt and other shoe, Ally lost her skirt which left her in her slip and tank top, and Logan lost his socks.

Logan dealt the next hand and by the time we were done that hand I had a single high card which meant I had the worst hand, Todd smiled at me Well we’re waiting. I gave him a little snarl then I slipped my underwear off and threw them at him. By the time we were done the next couple of hands I was down to just my dress, Ally was down to her bra and underwear, Todd was down to his boxers and Logan still had his pants and one shirt on since he lost his sweater.

Logan dealt the next hand and surprise I had the worst hand again so I gave them all a smile Okay I’m out.

Shaking her head Ally smirked That’s not how the game is played Lil.

Logan added Yeah Lilly.

I rolled my eyes and got up on my knees and pulled my dress off which left me completely nude then I said You guys happy?

They all said variations of Yes.

I glared at them as I bent over and grabbed my bra, underwear, dress, and shoes and said Okay, well game over so I’m heading to bed. Ciao. I knew they were all watching me walk away but I just ignored them. After I closed my bedroom door I started heading for the shower when there was a knock, quickly grabbing my robe I hollered Come on in. I turned back towards the door tying the robe. Within a second I saw Todd zip in and grab me around the waist. I was already up in his arms as I heard the door close behind him. Todd moved me over to the bed and the moment my back touched the bed Todd slammed his lips into mine. I know I should pull away from him but I can’t make myself, he just tastes so good. Todd’s lips broke away from mine and travelled down to my neck and that’s when he slipped my robe off of me. After gently giving me a little love nip his lips moved back to mine. Sliding my hands down his body I slipped his boxers off. He slowly slid his way into me making me throw my head back moaning. I heard Todd grunt which made me open my eyes and that’s when I saw him with his eyes closed concentrating as hard as he could. Placing my hand on his face I said Hey, hey look at me, he finally opened his eyes and when our eyes met he relaxed a little, I asked Hey, are you okay?

In between thrusts he said I’m just so happy... that I’m with you... I don’t want to... screw it up. My fangs decided on making their appearance but since he was looking me in the eye he saw my eye colour change first, he smiled and that’s when I saw his eye colour change and his fangs come out. Moving his head to the side he moaned Lilly bite me.

You don’t have to tell me twice. I quickly sprang at his neck, and immediately my mouth filled with his intoxicatingly yummy blood and that’s when he bit me bringing on both our orgasms. The moment we finished Todd crawled up the bed pulling me with him. Yeah but you have to be gone before I bring Jackson in here in the morning. I don’t want him to see you in my bed. He nodded so I curled back up against him and closed my eyes.

Chapter 3

Ow, oh god. Waking me up from a dead sleep I could feel intense crazy pain in my stomach and it feels like someone pushed down hard on my throat. Screaming out in pain my eyes burst open. I must have scared the shit out of Todd because he snarled as he jumped out of bed then he realized it was me so he turned the light on asking Lilly what’s wrong?

I threw the covers off of me. I sat up feeling across my stomach and neck looking for injuries but there isn’t anything there. My whole body was trembling as I looked up at Todd I don’t… I don’t know. I was sleeping then I felt intense crazy pain through my stomach and it felt like someone chopped me across my neck which woke me up but there isn’t anything there. Todd what’s going on? Closing my eyes for a second I tried to calm myself down but I got a feeling or a vibe that something was wrong with Miles. I opened my eyes Something’s wrong with Miles, oh my god Todd something’s wrong.

I closed my eyes and called out for Miles telepathically ‘Miles,’ nothing ‘Miles,’ still nothing so I yelled ‘Oh my god baby please answer me.’

Very faintly I heard ‘Lilly.’

‘Baby what happened, I was woken up by something and I knew it was from you so what’s wrong?’

‘Sophia.’

‘Okay please just stay with me baby.’

I severed my connection with him and dove for my nightstand, grabbing my cell I called her, she picked up on the second ring Hey girl what’s up?

Where’s Miles?

Yelling over the noise of the people around her she said At the hotel why?

Sophia something wrong, you need to get to him now.

What?

Sophia, just listen to me. GO! I could hear her pushing her way past people so I said Here talk to Todd. I’m going back to Miles okay.

Yeah go.

After Todd said Hey, I could hear her screaming at him asking him what the fuck was going on so he explained how I woke up and what I said as I contacted Miles again.

Closing my eyes I called out for Miles again ‘Miles, baby you there?’ he didn’t respond so I said ‘Come on baby answer me, I need you to answer me.’

Very faintly, his voice was softer than before ‘Lilly.’

‘Oh baby, Sophia is on her way. Can you tell me what happened?’

‘Ambushed.’

‘How badly are you hurt?’

‘Stomach... eding... heav...’

‘I didn’t catch all of that but hang in there baby.’ I tried to keep my connection with Miles open as I opened my eyes. I looked over at Todd and said out loud Soph I think he said he’s bleeding heavily but I didn’t catch it all. I could hear her scream shit then I focused back on Miles ‘Baby you still there?’

In little more than a whisper he said ‘Barely.’

‘Oh honey, Sophia’s on her way.’

‘Tired.’

‘I know baby just hang in there a bit longer, you can sleep once Sophia gets there.’ Opening my eyes I looked at Todd and cried Where is she?

Todd was just about to ask her but I heard Sophia say I’m running up the stairs to his room right now. After a second or two of silence I heard a boom then heard her scream Oh my god Miles. She must have put her phone on to speaker because she sounded far away as she said frantically Lilly he’s in bad shape, and he won’t answer me so keep trying to contact him because he needs to wake up and drink.

Okay. Closing my eyes I called for Miles ‘Baby, please answer me baby.’ I heard a grunt from him so I said ‘You need to open your eyes and wake up. I told you that you can’t sleep until Sophia gets there and she walked in to find you sleeping so you need to wake up so you can feed.’

‘So... tired...’

My voice was shaky as I sent ‘I know but you need to heal before you can sleep. You have to get better because you have three babies here that need you. I need you.’

He was quiet then I heard Sophia yell as Todd pushed the phone at me, He’s awake. Miles you need to drink this, come on Mi don’t do this to me. You need to get better so you can go home to your wife and babies. That’s it, keep drinking. Lilly he’s finally drinking. As he’s drinking I’m going to take a better look at his injuries. I could hear her moving around the hotel room then I heard her gasp, Oh my god, then I heard what sounded like duct tape.

The tears were flowing down my face as I sobbed What?

Lil it’s bad, really bad. If he was human he wouldn’t be alive right now but I can see his stomach is healing. Just a sec I have to give Miles another bag of blood. I heard her move around then I heard her say across the hotel room Miles keep drinking, you have a bit to go before you’re healed, then she got back on the phone Okay where was I?

My voice was shaky as I said You were telling me that his stomach is healing.

Oh yeah, his stomach is healing but he has other injuries. Lil you need to stay calm when I tell you okay.

Todd grabbed a hold of my hand so I said Okay.

Whoever was here must have been interrupted because they weren’t able to finish.

I was officially bawling as she said those last words. I knew I couldn’t say anything else so Todd grabbed the phone and put it on speaker phone as he asked What do you mean Sophia?

Where’s Lil?

With his hand on mine he said She’s here, she’s crying pretty hard so just tell us how bad he is.

She let out a deep breath and I could hear her opening another bag of blood then she said Okay, it looks like his right arm is broken which probably happened in the fight or when he fell. His stomach is sliced wide open from side to side but that isn’t the worst injury, she took another deep breath then she said I think whoever attacked him got interrupted because they tried to take his head off but they didn’t get through to the spine.

When I heard the part where she said …take his head off..., I passed out.

The next thing I could remember I could hear people moving around me, I heard a woman’s voice The girls are crying what should I do?

A man with a deep voice said She normally keeps extra bottles in the fridge. See here’s two bottles, hopefully she comes around soon because there are only two more bottles left. Ally, are you okay feeding the girls and I can go get Jackson. Why does the name Jackson sound familiar?

I opened my eyes and realized I was in a bed, a familiar voice asked Lilly are you okay?

Rolling my head over to the right I saw Todd sitting on my bed, that’s weird. I looked down at myself and saw that I was naked so I quickly threw the blanket up to cover myself. I looked back over at Todd and asked Todd what are you doing in my bed?

What? Wow he looks a bit different, he’s handsome, wow, I don’t think I’ve ever noticed how handsome he really is. He was looking at me weird as he asked Lilly why are you staring at me like that?

I never noticed how blue your eyes were before, he smiled then I remembered I was naked so I said quietly Did we just have sex?

He nodded You don’t remember?

I shook my head No I don’t. I must have been drunk, did we go to a party I don’t remember? Suddenly I just remember that my parents are probably a door a way so I said quietly Oh my god did my parents see you?

What?

I was grinning from ear to ear I can’t believe we had sex. I can’t believe I can’t remember, was it good?

He nodded again Yeah it was amazing, you were amazing.

Looking around the room I realized that I wasn’t in my bedroom at my parents’ house like I first thought but in a nice big swanky bedroom, this doesn’t look like what I thought Todd’s room looked like so I asked Todd where are we? This isn’t my room and this room looks really big and it doesn’t look like your taste so I don’t think it’s your room, are we in a hotel?

His eyes were looking me over and he looked confused but before I could say anything he cut me off Lil, how about you lay back down in bed and I’ll get you some breakfast okay.

I nodded, as he started to get out of bed I asked So are we dating now Todd?

Looking over his shoulder he gave me a smile How about we talk about that when I come back with breakfast so sit tight.

His eyes were wary so I asked Can I have a kiss before you leave?

It looked like his eyes went a little sad but he smiled
