    I started in photography after having four children of my own. I wanted tons of pictures of them but didn't have the money to spend on the professional portraits. So, I decided to get a diploma in photography and take my kids' portraits myself. I just love it. The portrait on my profile is my granddaughter. I have read tons of books on photography, taken many more classes, and realized you never stop learning in this field of work. I hope to share some of my education with others like me.

To make this type of business profitable, you must be willing to change with it. You must keep up with all of the latest trends and fashions, while remembering the old fashioned too.

      You must be a professional. Everyone has friends or family that will do senior portraits for a great price, but their skill is very limited most of the time. You must have the skills to back up your price.
