I love the story lines and characters, but I truly am put off by the narrator’s British accent. This is is about The FBI not MI 6.

I honestly like this series but the overbearing constant portrayal of the top brass of the fbi as being incompetent gets really old. And the voice they use for him I normally have to skip over it’s so annoying. Riley left a marriage because she is an independent woman with a mind of her own as portrayed in the book, so it doesn’t fit that she would stay in a position where she is constantly berated in her job. Doesn’t fit well. And what’s with a USA based novel with a British voice reading all of the novels? Not a deal breaker but kind of odd. Outside of these things the story lines are pretty interesting and holds my attention. Will keep listening :)

I agree with the other review, the FBI boss character is pretty annoying. What is the most annoying is the narrator, FBI agents with British Accents, no. The narrator’s voiced for the different characters range from comical to completely irritating. The pronunciation of US place names is off most of the time. Please get a better narrator.

Blake Pierce is a brilliant writer of murder mysteries. So far I have read 5 of Blake's books, and I have found each one to be thoroughly enjoyable. And have been kept up for hours, not wanting to out them down. You will not be disappointed.
