About this audiobook
No one can love a son like his mother…
A psychological thriller from debut author J A Andrew for fans of T.M. Logan, My Lovely Wife and K.L. Slater.
Patricia Mullner is trapped in a nightmare no parent should ever experience. Three years ago, her 17-year-old son Andrew vanished without a trace. There was no note, no goodbye and no body has ever been found.
Now her days are spent in a fog of heartache and alcohol.
But Patricia is more than just a grieving mother. As Andrew’s disappearance starts to unravel the perfect family she’s built with her husband, it seems that the actions of her past may be back to haunt her.
Because someone is watching from the shadows - someone who knows exactly what Patricia is hiding. Someone who will stop at nothing to take revenge – and might just hold the key to Andrew’s disappearance…

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This has got to be one of the worst books I’ve ever read. I cared about none of the characters at all! Writer had nothing to say so literally ever other word was a swear word and not the mild kind. Don’t get me wrong - I swear often but it usually makes sense when I do it. This was just poor writing. What a waste of time.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Is the intrigue, the lies that you think will never been known. The mother’s love even if it’s not your blood. But at the end of the day the truth comes out. All the characters in this book have a purpose . I really love this book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great read, well done to the author! I found this to be a real page turner! Looking forward to reading more of his books! ????
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The suspense, I can usually figure out what’s going to happen half way through a book, but I didn’t see it coming. Well done!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent very intense and keeps you guessing , so sad abused can become abusers and lies and deception have such terrible consequences on the abusers victims . I will look out for more books from this great author
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Different, good read, sad and emotional too. Famiky generation to generation effects.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Firstly, I thought the story spent too much time on background building (didn't help story)
Secondly, too slow before even any idea that the story was going anywhere
Sorry, It was too slow paced, not enough interest to keep me motivated to read to the end.
Yes, I only made it half way through. It wasnt for me :) - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I quite liked this book. After ever chapter my guess on the end changed. And yet the end was not one I guessed. I look forward to listening to the rest of your books.
