About this audiobook
Struggling with long-buried family secrets and her own recent heartbreak, artist and pet portraitist Susie Mahl hopes her brief sojourn as an art tutor at a Scottish country house will prove a distraction. But Susie soon realises she has bigger problems than teaching her eclectic mix of students to draw a Highland cow. Beneath the beautiful landscapes of the Scottish Highlands and the grandeur of the Auchen Laggan Tosh estate lie hidden secrets. Can Susie work out what exactly is going on before it’s too late? And can anyone be trusted?

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I tried to like it. But honestly the main character is just nosey. I just can’t continue listening the rest of it. I have waded through it and stopped listening several times and tried to come back to it. But it’s just no good. No matter how I much I try the bottom line for me is the character is just nosey. I can’t make out why anything in the story line has anything to do with her or why it’s any of her business. Just nosey lol. Could I write a better book?? Nope, I am reader/listener not a writer. But I know what gets my nerves and This is it. BTW, the character Toby is correct, she needs to keep her nose out of stuff lol
