It started fairly strong for me!! Really liked the beginning and excited to see where the book goes. However, once Abby gets abducted, the book makes a sharp turn downward. I did. It like how the book went after. Maybe I’m picky, but I felt the writing changed after the abduction. I did not finish the book, so I can’t say if it turns around or not. I made it to chapter 17/27

I think it could be shorter, it's mostly fun, but the characters are too much of stereotypes, they don't feel like real people. The plot is not much to be honest. One thing that bothered me most is the protagonists thinking the other has died, don't they share a link? Wouldn't they know if the other REALLY died? This happens more than one time, I felt it was for the drama. Anyway, I knew what I was getting into, so not a total disappointment, but only kinda fun, sometimes made me angry and sometimes gave me a lot of second hand embarrassment.

Abby lives alone on a mountain. An alien crashed into her yard and she saves him. Their need to communicate is hindered by her not understanding him. But their attraction is very easy to read. Then she is whisked away to his home planet with some of her friends and destined to be their mates. Not my cup of tea...to predictable.
