This was such a sweet & cozy monster romance!

Theo, our minotaur, was such a sweet and shy Cinnamon roll who was looking for someone to love when he connected with Celeste - a human companion.

Celeste was closed off to dating at the beginning of the book, but once she got to know Theo, the possibilities opened up.

Honestly, this was such a cute romance. No 3rd act drama, just pure romance, fluff, and some steam. Great book to start if looking to dip your toes into monster romances ?

I didn’t have high hopes for a monster romance but, the world building is incredibly lazy and leaves so many questions unanswered. The main character is so annoying constantly worried about how tiny and defenseless she is even though her parents were capable of living in the real world without monster protection. It’s giving racist white woman in an interracial relationship. She likes “her monster” but is fearful of others because of stereotypes. Just weird vibes and boring characters all around.
