This is the first book in the series and it has grabbed me in to listen to the other four books. I'm a sucker for magic and fantasy. I feel like the writer really grasped the concept of what people want to read. Plus I swear there might be some characters in some other books that play part of this series and others as well.
I look for writers and book series like this one all the time so I'm looking forward to the rest of this series.
