If she can control the boy, show him that magic is more than curses and necromancy, he might obtain the power he desires. If not, well . . .

I freakin loved this story! Typically, I'm not a magical fantasy reader, but I'm so glad I found this story. The characters were great, the world building was not overkill or obnoxious, and the plot was simple yet super intriguing. I felt like I was just getting to know two people amongst this fantastical world and I can't wait to go back for more.

The narration was perfect. Both actors did a stellar job and definitely added to my enjoyment.
