I love the story line, It’s unique and pulls you in. Downside… main character wines non-stop!! Seriously the whining never stops! Poor me poor me my world is so hard and sad… if the female lead was strong and accepted her powers the book would be AMAZING, but I am 3 books in and she is still poor me whining! The narrator is fantastic, but she can only do so much with the words given! I’m going to try one more and if the whining continues I’m on to a new series.

I like this series. I really like the narrator. Her voice acting skills are top notch. My problem is with the main character. She is so weak and soft and dumb sometimes it drives me crazy. If a group of Psychopathic homicidal Wizards are trying to kill you and drink your blood to gain power and you have the opportunity to kill them you should kill them.
