It has been a long time since I read Club Shadowlands, the first book in the Masters of the Shadowlands series by Cherise Sinclair. I remember enjoying it, but it was rather early on in my education of BDSM. I have a greater appreciation for it now.
This is the story of Piper, a once very abused slave, and Sir Ethan, a Dominant worthy of a Submissive's trust. It's a long and lovely story, made all the more gorgeous by the beautiful duet narration by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. I don't think I've ever heard a better connection between main characters! I will now have to listen to all the previous books in this series!

10/10 for narration. This type of narration should be the standard. I can't tell you how happy I was with both narrators and not having to listen to them fake another gender's voice.

I enjoyed the story, too. Conflicts were resolved efficiently without feeling rushed.
