About this audiobook
From award-winning and International best-selling author Melanie A. Smith comes a standalone, steamy bad-boy contemporary romantic suspense novel with a psychic twist.
Foul-mouthed and sexy as sin, this bad boy is about to turn her entire world upside down...
I'm Frankie Greco. Since I can remember, a little voice inside my head has whispered to me whenever I hear lies. To distract myself, I focus on my career. I recently bought out what used to be one of the hottest nightclubs in Los Angeles, so it's not hard. There are few people I let in, and only they know my secret. But romantic relationships never last long.
That is, until I met Julian. I don't know if it was the instant, primal attraction, but I couldn't get a read on this guy to save my life. And I definitely wasn't prepared for what letting him in would start; the pieces of my past that would come back to haunt me. I didn't think it was possible to surprise a girl who can spot a lie a mile away. I couldn't have been more wrong.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Another great read by Melanie Smith! Frankie and Julian’s story is romantic and hot with a twist I didn’t see coming! Frankie’s skill as a human lie detector is interesting and different. It makes her relationships and ability to trust difficult. I love how strong and independent Frankie is, yet still has that vulnerability. Julian is strong and his love for Frankie is amazing. Hot and steamy with great character development. It’s a fairly quick read that I couldn’t put down! I also recommend reading the follow up ‘After the Lies’. It’s everything! I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I was given a review copy at my request and have voluntarily left this review.Wow! I'm not usually a big fan of these quick romance books, but this was a good one. Melanie is a really good writer with the ability to draw you in and feel like you're part of the story. I could imagine the entire story in my head because of how descriptive she was for everything. I love that. And can I say... holy plot twist! I could see a few things coming, kind of obvious, but that last one? Never would have imagined that! Great work.
