About this audiobook

Two powerful families, a priceless bottle of wine, and a precious pink diamond lost for three generations collide in this suspenseful contemporary romance series from New York Times bestselling author Christina Dodd...

At nineteen, Noah Di Luca was Bella Terra's golden boy, handsome, confident, and untouched by the shadows that tormented his brothers...or so it seems. Driven by ambition, beautiful teenage Penelope Alonso fought her way out of the ghettos. During one hot summer, they came together in the sweetness of first love...until his past reared its ugly head and Noah walked away.

Nine years later, Penelope returns, never imagining she'd see Noah or that one glance would wake their fiery passion. As peril builds around them, Penelope has one choice: to survive, she must once again trust the man who betrayed her.

Even with terror stalking through Bella Terra's streets, love may be the most dangerous choice of all.

To be the final book in the series, it really wrapped up the lose ends well. The author always writes an entertaining book. I really enjoyed it.

This is the last book in the series and is Noah's story. In the fist two books we knew that Noah was hiding something from his family, we just didn't know what. Now the story must come out. Such a pleasure to read this well written suspense romance.

This story was okay. It had an exciting ending but I never liked the hero. His prolonged distancing got tiresome and I started skimming. The romance was rather unbelievable. Filled with grief Penelope returns to a town where she had a teenage summer love with Noah who left her.

The last of a series. Had to read. It ended good. The youngest of the three brothers. Had a twist to story. Young love gone bad. She returns many years later to Bella Terra.

In this newest series from author Christina Dodd, she combines romance, suspense, mystery and the inner world of a Napa Valley winery. The three books in the series Secrets of Bella Terra, Revenge at Bella Terra, and Betrayal center on the Di Luca family sons. Christina Dodd wraps up her Bella Terra series with a winner. This book tells the story of Noah, the last brother still unmarried. His past lover, Penelope, has returned to the area after the death of her mother to confirm her mother’s deathbed confession. She plans to stay away from Noah but ends up befriending his sister in law, Brooke and working as the decorator on Brooke and Rafe’s house. Needless to say, she meets up with Noah pretty quickly and the sizzle is still there. After reading the first two books in this series, I expected suspense, but WOW! This book is a page turner. Noah has some big secrets in his past that are about to unravel and take his family down with him if he isn’t extremely careful. Penelope has secrets of her own and she can tell that Noah is carrying a heavy burden but she isn’t sure that she is strong enough deal with her emotions about him. Ms. Dodd does an excellent job of setting up a scenario that seems impossible to end any other way but badly. The characters from the other books play a big part in this book along with some new ones who really stir up the pot. Villainy abounds from every side that in which Noah and Penelope look for answers. There are parts of the book that seem very slightly contrived but somehow it works and the plot stays true and doesn’t seem a stretch. The ending of the book is very satisfying with a nice twist in the very last paragraphs.
