About this audiobook
So here’s the plan…
Kill the demon.…
Steal the treasure.…
Retire to a life of luxury!
It sounds easy when put like that. Most unfortunately for warrior-priest Egil and sneak thief Nix, however, when the demon they kill turns out to have worshippers in high places, retirement is not an option.
A wonderfully fast-paced fantasy adventure redolent of the classic tales of swords and sorcery, from New York Times bestselling author, Paul S. Kemp.
“This rollicking tale hooked me from the get-go. Egil and Nix might not be the safest guys to go adventuring with, but they’re sure good company.” —Ed Greenwood, creator of Forgotten Realms
Paul S. Kemp
Paul S. Kemp is a lawyer. That is bad. He is also the million-selling author of the Erevis Cale sword and sorcery series, and several Star Wars novels. That is good. Very good. He has appeared on the New York Times Bestseller list three times (twice on the hardcover list, and once in the mass market list). It’s a little known fact that Paul has maimed eight men and three llamas using only an unsharpened pencil and a stick of Wrigley’s gun. Now you know too. He does not hum show tunes. Ever. Paul lives in Michigan with his wife and twin sons.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I loved the writers word choices. He didn’t try to use simple language like other writers do.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A thoroughly-swashed buckle, this. Comparison to Fritz Leiber's "Swords" books is unavoidable, and that's a good thing, since the genre is delightful if well executed, as this book is.
