I think the FMC kept forgetting she was kidnapped with all those damn questions.

Idk how the FMC is so annoying when her grandfathers life is hanging in the balance? - If it was just herself it’d make sense to fight back and be a smartass just made it cringey.

Ended up DNF at chapter 8

Listened to both in this series. The stories are much better if you speed up the track x1.2. Will there be a third? It ended in a way that was vague. Usually you get more details when introducing segue characters.
