No standalones in this 3-book series. Unless Scribd has all 3 you'll be left with cliffhanger. H and h are two of the most valuable assassins for the United States CIA. H has many expert methods of killing the people whom CIA assigns him to kill. h is an expert with poisoning whomever the CIA orders her to eliminate. Each lives with the reality that they will be targets for enemies of US even after they retire. If they make friends outside of CIA they know the friends can be targets too. The story is part romance and part suspense. All 3 books were quite interesting.
