About this audiobook

Sometimes moms see the never-ending laundry, dirty diapers, and skinned knees as relatively insignificant when compared to activities and callings that seem more important and lasting. But there is eternal value in even the most mundane moments if the Great Commission informs how we're thinking about all of life, including what it means to be a mom. Tracing motherhood in the story of the Bible and drawing out key implications for moms today, Gloria Furman helps women live out God's story of redemption in their daily lives as they nurture their children and joyfully share the message of the gospel with those around them.

This book could honestly be for any woman, mother or not. It’s about the power of the gospel for women.

This book was more than just an encouragement for mothers but a deeper sense of who Christ is.

It was a great book with a good message. It rambled a bit at times but if you can stay with it there is much to be gained.

Solid biblical foundation for motherhood: Christ Jesus himself. As an aspiring missionary, and having lived overseas myself, and now a mother, this book was very helpful for me. I'll probably listen to it again soon to get more out of it.

Everything that I could never put into words is written down in this book. All of how I see Jesus at work in and through me. How desperately we need Jesus and the cross for our radically extra/ordinary days as we mother. Listen, heal from the lies of the culture around you and see how Jesus sees you and loves you and your mission, motherhood. ❤️

Absolutely incredible book! Transformed my view of motherhood and womanhood. Instead of viewing my role as a woman, wife, and mother as an exhausting burden, I now see it as a glorious purpose and mission from God. I’m eager to read the book again and others from the author.

This was a great book. Deepening my reason for why mothering my children is a work of God, this book inspired me.
