Charly Cox knows how to write a suspenseful, thrilling novel & Kate Zane knows exactly how to deliver it!!! Had me hooked from the very start & never fell flat!! I didn’t want this one to end..I can’t wait for The Toybox to be released in audio!!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe I've been missing out on Author Charly Cox and her Detective Alyssa Wyatt series! I just finished reading the first book, "All His Pretty Girls," and let me tell you, I was immediately hooked. I couldn't resist and ended up downloading the next three books right away.

This series is an absolute thrill ride! The suspense just keeps building, layer upon layer. What really grabbed my attention was the unique approach to a serial killer case. It's refreshing to see a fresh take on a concept that's been done so many times before. Charly Cox really knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat.

But it's not just about the thrilling plot. The character and relationship development in this series is absolutely phenomenal. Detective Alyssa and her husband Brock are such compelling characters, and their relationship is just so idyllic. I guarantee you'll fall in love with them.

And let's not forget about the investigation itself. Tracking down a highly intelligent serial killer is no easy feat, and Cox does an incredible job keeping readers on their toes. I found myself trying to piece together the puzzle alongside the characters, desperately trying to stay in my seat.

But just when you think you've got it all figured out, Cox throws in a twist that even Sherlock Holmes himself might struggle to unravel. It's mind-boggling and keeps you guessing until the very end. I couldn’t hardly bring myself to pull the AirPods from my ears.

The narrator did a fabulous job and that’s always a plus with audiobooks.

If you're a fan of crime thrillers, I highly recommend diving into the world of Detective Alyssa Wyatt. Charly Cox has created something truly special here, and I can't wait to see what she has in store with book 2, “The Toy Box” a review will follow!
