About this audiobook

This academy's gone to the gods.

I'm Penelope DeLuna, and I'm a demigod.

I didn't think half bloods were real, until a sexy-as-sin guy showed up with a three-headed dog and kidnapped me to a world of magic.

After my powers emerged, I discovered I'm the daughter of a goddess. To join my family, I'll have to prove my worth at an academy for preppy mythological heroes and fight my way up Mount Olympus.

If I'm lucky, no one will find out I had a naughty hook-up with the totally off-limits son of Hades . . .

Let me get this straight. This is a guy, her ex who she had a poor breakup; who murdered her in a past life; has already said he will force her to go to this academy; said he would rape her if she doesn't fulfil his needs and yet, while standing on her doorstep, he looks her up and down with his stare lingering on her breasts, she reacts by saying her panties were becoming wet.

WTF! Why would any sensible woman react In this way? I wish this lust were left out of these books and given the main female character a supportive, capable ally or love interest such as her best friend who will also be attending the academy, not some rapist and murderer whom she lusts for.

Otherwise, the narrator is pretty decent and so far the story has good action scenes.

I'm at the beginning of the book, and will update the review later, these are first impressions.

UPDATE: It was downhill from there, it's nothing but sex and regret mixed with lust for said murderer and rapist. No thanks and I likely wont listen to anything else the author offers and absolutely wont be buying anything offered on Audible.

This should be listed first as erotica then fantasy, it certainly shouldn't be listed as YA Fairy Tales & Folklore & Romance.
