About this audiobook
When a fallen angel is mistakenly resurrected from the blood of an evil "Watcher" taken from the Shroud of Turin, the fiend's first gift to the world is an unstoppable plague. Dr. Jon Bondurant, the forensic anthropologist and avowed atheist, joins with devout Domenika Josef to bring another child of the Shroud into the world to save it, this one borne of DNA believed to be that of Jesus Christ. Can this child be the answer to their-and mankind's-prayers?
His parents are uncertain just who the child is or what he will become, but when he starts demonstrating remarkable powers to heal, they begin to understand that whatever he is, he is not of this world. Might he bring miracles to the world when it needs them the most? Or has science given mankind a tool with which it will destroy itself as the tempting power of the Watcher unfolds?
This globe-spanning chase to uncover the truth and stop a pandemic that just may wipe out humanity once and for all is a fast-paced, explosive thriller.

Reviews for The Second Coming

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5While a captivating plot, seems like much more could have been done in development of the plot. The ending fizzled, was disappointing.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a second book in a thriller series and I had not read the first book. With that said I have to say I was not lost at all. The book stands on its own merits and is complete. A renown scientist that hates the Church is chosen to authenticate the Shroud of Turin. A third party used the DNA on the shroud to make a clone. This thriller is the story of what transpires from the cloning and the life the scientist is forced to live for having accepted the assignment. It is well written and an easy read. You will get caught up in the story and may just read it straight through. I would write more but I do not wish to give any spoilers. The book ends in such a way hat it leaves an opening for the next one quit nicely.
