About this audiobook
As interior designer Jay Burns watches her long-term relationship slowly unravel, she runs into-literally-landscape designer Drew Montgomery. As their paths cross, both professionally and personally, a friendship develops, one they each try to maintain despite the obvious attraction between them. But still, Jay is not willing to throw away an eight-year relationship, even when it becomes painfully obvious the end is near.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5If you are new to lesbian books and want a realistic escape, this author is quite a realistic writer. So far all her books have been hard to put down and a great way to spend 6 hours working with ear buds in. I'm breezing through my yard work and house painting, looking for work and whatever else I'm doing. REALLY enjoying the feeling that she captures the struggle on both sides.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Real lesbian love n romance and what made it stand apart from just sexs between two women is the love TALK in the romance. Women love has a feminine and soft side. The love and romantic TALK is what you don't hear in lesbian films n movies. Begining to like listening gerri hill's lesbian audio friction books. My question is do lesbians expressions of love, romance, sexs just a show???? The lesbian friction story had a begining and ending.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5While unrealistic, I still enjoyed the story and so glad it's narrated by Abby Craden.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The plot is thin and made me roll my eyes several times.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This is a pretty frustrating book because of the angst that lasted too long. I first listened many months ago and enjoyed it more then. Kathryn, the work-a-holic lawyer has been with Jay for 8 years. They haven’t been happy for years, so why had they stayed together? Kathryn’s ex fling from law school moves to town and they sneak around together. K plans this trip to Hawaii for herself and Jay, inviting her secret lover and a “date.” Things get ridiculous and I know I’ll not be listening to this again.
