Louisa Masters started reading romance much earlier than her mother thought she should. While other teenagers were sneaking out of the house, Louisa was sneaking romance novels in and working out how to read them without being discovered. She’s spent most of her life feeling sorry for people who don’t read, convinced that books are the solution to every problem. As an adult, she feeds her addiction in every spare second, only occasionally tearing herself away to do things like answer the phone and pay bills. Aidan and Alistair's story - I love Alistair. He gets the funniest lines! The underlying storyline continues and remains just as intriguing. Narrator is superb. I don't know how he keeps all the accents straight!

Book three of this series. This one is mostly about the unfolding drama in the continuing story. Along the way we get to see the "hijinks" is a very good word and budding love story of Alistair, the fun loving hell hound that works for the Community of Species Government and Aiden the shifter species leader. My favorite part is when Alistair protects Aiden by locking him in a bathroom with a cooler of food and a arm chair... so funny.

The drama got super dark in this one. My stomach is in knots about how it will end! I sure hope good triumphs over evil!

I listened to this on Scribd. Joel Leslie did an excellent job narrating. I actually think he's one of my favorite narrators. I know he does Keira Andrews books too.
