About this audiobook
Being in love with my straight friend isn’t easy…
I thought pining for Daniel was an epic tragedy, but then I found out I’m a conduit—someone who can communicate with beings from the otherworld—and my unrequited love for one of my best friends seems less of a problem.
So when a spirit is destroyed while trying to warn me of an approaching disaster, it makes sense for Daniel to step up and help me search for more information. Or it does until my mom turns up twenty years after abandoning me and Daniel turns into Mr. Protective. One thing leads to another, and somehow the whole town now thinks we’re dating.
As if all that isn’t enough to deal with, Daniel’s having a bisexual awakening, and he’s looking to me, his gay friend, to guide him through it. I’d do anything for him, but the thought of being with him and then watching him move on to another guy… I don’t know if my heart can take it.
But I have to toughen up and get on with it, because whatever’s happening in the otherworld is spilling over to here, and it’s going to take everyone we’ve got to keep humanity safe… if we can.
Louisa Masters
Louisa Masters started reading romance much earlier than her mother thought she should. While other teenagers were sneaking out of the house, Louisa was sneaking romance novels in and working out how to read them without being discovered. She’s spent most of her life feeling sorry for people who don’t read, convinced that books are the solution to every problem. As an adult, she feeds her addiction in every spare second, only occasionally tearing herself away to do things like answer the phone and pay bills. She spent years trying to build a “sensible” career, working in bookstores, recruitment, resource management, administration, and as a travel agent, before finally conceding defeat and devoting herself to the world of romance novels. Louisa has a long list of places first discovered in books that she wants to visit, and every so often she overcomes her loathing of jet lag and takes a trip that charges her imagination. She lives in Melbourne, Australia, where she whines about the weather for most of the year while secretly admitting she’ll probably never move.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I adore this series and author so much! A definite must listen for paranormal mm readers and audiobook fans.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Really really in love with these books , I love how the characters are written I love the way the story unfolds a little at a time just enough to keep you interested but not too much at once. Loving the relationship building between all of the characters. Just started this series now three days ago and I'm already heading into book 4 really glad I didn't have to wait a year or less for the next one LOL.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This isn't a bad book, I just feel like it's a book that bridges a gap between the last book and the book coming after this one. The adventure and mystery of the paranormal in the other books was lacking in this one. I kinda expected more from Sky's story. Over feel like this is a set up for the next main book in the series and would probably read better if you had that one ready to go after this one was done, that is when it's released.
