Taut narrative but what an amoral perspective. We end up rooting for a narrator we know to be a killer.

Paula Daley is such a talented writer. I am drawn into the lives of the characters before the suspense builds.

When evil comes to town. This is one of those psychological twisted stories where no one is really the nice guy. Or are they? It's hard to tell in this book! That's why I love it.

Riveting absolutely riveting! So many secrets between friends. I cheered on the main character throughout this book because I knew in the end she would do the right thing (wink wink) I’m kinda bummed there wasn’t more of a wrap up. Kind of thought they would reveal Shawn to be a daddy to the other child that is mentioned. (don’t want to spoil anything)
