- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Heavy handed beginning with a big build up to a less then satisfying ending. I feel as though the author was juggling too many ideas and made a big swing, which for me was a miss in this first listen. May try again another time.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5It's an Adam and even retelling. I would have not listened to it.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A short, haunting take on the Garden of Eden—the narrator did such a good job with all the voices and the eerie tone to the story.
Definitely helps if you know the basics of Christian mythos and who Lilith is before picking this one up1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Interesting, but deeply deeply unsubtle. The metaphor could not be more on the nose if it tried.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I liked the first 2/3 of the book; it was mysterious and well written; I found the final part, the reveal, ridiculous; I think the author started with a good premise, then lost interest and decided to wrap it up.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was a GREAT genre-bending novella. I loved that I was constantly invested and questioning what was going on. I normally guess endings and this one completely surprised me. Creepy, fascinating and kept me guessing! Loved it!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Twisty and unsettling while still being something I could hand to a high school student. I sort of wish I could read it in class to unpack all the parts. The ending is heavy handed, but I think there is a significant population that would miss the point if it were not 100% clear. It wasn’t until the very end that I “got it”.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this book. It was fascinating and the twist at the end was mind blowing.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Incredibly clever story. worth re-reading just to catch things after knowing the ending.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is such a clever book. I’m looking forward to a re-read. Excellent work!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5An interesting take, nice twist. Worth the time to listen.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Clever. Wholly original, even if it did have notes of STEPFORD WIVES early on. Cool concept.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I truly enjoyed the twists and turns this book took!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This book was simultaneously deeply unsettling and entertaining. It is best if you go into this text without really knowing what’s going on beyond the book blurb. Afterwards, I suggest watching an interview with the author about the book or reading about the inspiration for this book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What a beautiful book, what a beautiful narration that was
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Interesting take on an old classic. Tale as old as time. Worth a listen, short and sweet.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Fun listen but kinda predicable. However, I really enjoyed it
