From her hysterical commentary to her heartbreaking tenderness, Tetley won my heart. This book surprised me and was well worth the read ♥️

Imaginative, touching, absolutely love the main character and her approach to the challenges of life on what is left of earth ❤️

I don't want to share more.

A story of discovery, hope, connection, love, longing, loss and more discovery. Captivating characters. Fantastic world building. Post more than apocalypse.

A very powerful book in some ways. I can't say I agree with the main character in a lot of respects, but she and her world are fascinating anyhow. This story was actually much sadder than I was expecting, at least sad to me. The author does an amazing job of imbuing the world of Tetly with a lot of wonder and every day joy, for all her trauma. It's the subtext parts of of her world that are saddest, hidden amongst the obvious pains.

This is definitely the author's best work since her Fairyland series, and the narrator was excellent, really brought the story to life. I highly recommend it.

Really sad. But so sweetly written, and also often hilarious. And the narrator is great.
