THIS WAS JUST TOO MUCH FUN. The gentle pokes at us obsessed readers (and listeners!) .....the affectionately sardonic view into the ups and downs of that fantasy job that is "narration".... the inside jokes are just too accurate, and too awesome!

DO NOT make the mistake I did, and not pay enough attention to the character names at first, because I got lost after a bit, and it took me awhile to sort everyone out. But that was on me!

This is a short, fun, ROMP of a must read!!! or...."listen", really, because that's where it really shines!

I was snort laughing, grinning like an idiot, highly amused, & hands-down brilliantly entertained! If my walls could talk they would say I'm nuts! I love how real this is - the situations, interactions, etc. are all things so many of us have experienced! Having your book play out loud at the most inopportune time, the way other people react to your love of audiobooks, the way romance is viewed by people outside the community, and how couples who communicate can benefit from listening/reading romance ala the "plantain, the peach, and the fruit salad!" Freaking Brilliant!!! It's so cool to hear about the Author's reader groups/social media with fan interactions in this way, since so many of us have this outlet available to us. Knowing a book title from one line - That is something we would do! Getting your partner/husband to listen to and enjoy the books you do (or at least enjoy that you ENJOY them) is a beautiful thing and you get that!

This book was mostly magnificently funny, but when it gets real and two characters have an honest discussion it was very touching and beautifully sweet and HUMAN! I was cringing a bit, wondering where the lunch meeting would go, but it was absolutely perfect! (I also married a hermit crab, and it is a beautiful thing when you realize that & love them just the way they are and work on growing together!)

Characters: All of them are perfect!

Duet multicast - when it's done well - is amazing! This was amazing! All of the performances are genuine, funny, cute, hawty, sexy, and all the perfectness in the world from these top-notch performers!

If you are someone who likes bloopers, definitely listen all the way to the end for the bloopers. These bloopers are made of awesome!
