An excellent start to a new series. Alexis starts a new job in a new town at a very strange bookstore run by a very strange proprietor. When a customer dies, everything in Alexis's life becomes complicated. There is a lot of world-building and character development in this book but the mystery is good. I am looking forward to the next book.
