Mary Ann Weathers is an amazing narrator! The delineation between character voices is clear, accents are true and natural. Regarding the writing, I don’t ever remember my emotions getting such a workout. I felt impassioned, angry, outraged and hurt, and so happy I almost cried. Wonderful pairing, so glad to see this team-up continues in subsequent novels.

DNF - stopped at chapter 5. I loved book 1 but just couldn’t get into the storyline or the narration. I think it was more the storyline though.
