The narrator was everything. I enjoyed the story and Michael Pauley did a tremendous job portraying ALL the necessary emotion to draw the listener in. I was in tears after listening to Brielle's Grandmother. Delaney Diamond authored a great story and Michael made it an immensely pleasurable listening experience for me.

Honestly there's nothing original about this story and it's theme, but I still loved it! I love most books that Michael Pauley narrates he's full of passion and his voice isn't robotic in the least!
I enjoy most books by Delaney Diamond, and since I'm mixed raced and I have a child by a white man it's nice to listen to books that I can relate to. I cried listening to this story even though I knew how it would end. I would recommend this book and it's author.

This narrators voice is terrible. He sounds robotic making the story hard to follow and borrowing!!

The narration was overdone to the point of being annoying. I stopped listening after the second chapter.
