About this audiobook

Fleeing a lurid scandal, matchmaker Celinda Ingram arrived in Cadence City desperate for a new start. Known for her strong para-resonator abilities, she is able to match up clients by reading their psi waves. It's this talent that sets her body tingling when security specialist Davis Oakes shows up at her office.

A formidable psychic himself, Davis is trying to track down a powerful relic that Celinda supposedly bought as a toy for her pet dust bunny. Trying to wrest the ruby red object from the suspicious duo nearly drains Davis of the energy he'll need to keep his growing desire for Celinda in check - and to keep her safe from those who will do anything to possess the relic…

I don't know why, but I got irritated by constant rezzing and de-rezzing.

These stories have everything: suspense, danger, romance, dust bunnies, and fun.

I always love Jayne's books but I'm not sure how much I like them in audio couldn't stop laughing every time she did a male voice. But this was my first audio book so maybe I'll be able to get over that.

This paranormal romance has plenty of exciting action but so many fictional components and didn't fully capture my attention. I liked how the relationship developed for a love at first sight and the dust bunnies were cute. Detective Davis goes to matchmaker Celinda's office about a relic she recently purchases.

I really do love her writing; it's very easy to speed through a book in a couple of hours and not even realize time is passing. However, I was a bit disappointed in this one. The bad guy were just horrible, horrible bad guys, and the good guys were really good guys, and the romance aspect didn't really have much tension at all. But still, a fun read.

This was an ok book and typical of Castle books. If you like her others then you will like this. The suspense story was adequate, but there was no character development. The romance was cookie cutter and not inspiring at all.

A matchmaker with good reason not to trust Guild men and a Guild-connected private investigator with good reason not to trust matchmakers clash heads in this Harmony novel by Castle. Once again, the dust bunnies steal the show.I don't usually like paranormal romances, but Castle handles the fantastic elements well.

Loved this book. Good mix of paranormal elements and romance. Especially loved the dust bunny side kicks.

The best of Castle's Harmony series, in my opinion. Celinda and Davis are in possession of a new kind of artifact which enhances the unique psi power Celinda has. Davis has a rare and interesting talent as well. Both also have a dust bunny who helps them keep the artifact out of the hands of a crazy para-psychiatrist. Castle has cut down on the annoying device of tacking -rez to every other word in her paranormal series, and the narrative is much better for it.

The mystery was pretty decent, but the romance could've used some more work, hence the four stars for this. I do wish the author would not explain or repeat herself so much on the paranormal world since it takes up quite a few pages for those already familiar with this series. Otherwise, it's a good read.

Not the best of Castle's Ghost Hunters series, but not terrible. Emmett London, Lydia Smith, and the dust bunnies return in this sequel to After Dark. Lydia is attempting to reconstruct the details of her Lost Weekend. When she contacts an old colleague from her academic days, he agrees to meet her only to end up dead. Tracking down the murderer and coming to terms with her relationship with Emmett keep Lydia occupied for most of the book. Maybe because this is a return to familiar characters, but there wasn't as much interest in the romance end of things. Read After Dark first, or a lot of things won't make much sense.

Another fun dust bunny romp by Jayne Castle. Fun, new paranormal talents included. Definitely a return to what made her first books in this series so much fun to read!
