Dis ons plig om so en nou dan minder vleis te eet, maar dit hoef nie minder lekker te wees nie.
genoeg vir 4-6
1. 1 ui, fyngekap
2. 2 knoffelhuisies, fyngekap
3. 10 ml komynsaad, fyngemaal
4. 10 ml fyngerasperde vars gemmer
5. 45 ml garam masala
6. 400 g (500 ml) droë bruin lensies
7. 2 x 400 ml-blikke klappermelk
+ olyfolie, sout en varsgemaalde swartpeper, naanbrode en dubbeldik jogurt vir voorsit
Verhit oor hoë hitte ’n skeut olyfolie tot warm in ’n groot pot. Voeg uie, knoffel, komyn, gemmer en masala by. Roerbraai 1-2 minute of tot geurig. Voeg lensies by en braai nog 1 minuut. Voeg klappermelk by en meng deur. Verlaag hitte en laat prut tot lensies sag en gaar is, sowat 15-20 minute – roer elke nou en dan deur. Verwyder van hitte en geur goed met sout en peper. Sit warm
