Paola’s wisdom of self-nourishment is like receiving a big hug and may be just the permission you need to ease a little deeper into your body’s wisdom right now.After hitting rock bottom and feeling burnt out working in fashion, Paola began to study nutrition. She completely transformed her life through adjustments to her diet, sleep, and overall approach to self-nourishment. Paola felt so fantastic that she wanted to share all she learned, and her path to nourishment teacher grew organically from this place. In our age of information overload, where everyone has many opinions and not many facts, Paolo emphasizes the importance of leading our own nourishment journeys, instead of following someone else’s, which will look different for everyone. Paola’s approach to a healthy, nourishing lifestyle stems from giving people healthy ingredients from which to make their own nourishing recipe, instead of giving people a set of rules to follow. One of the biggest impacts of living a nourishing life is inviting back pleasure. All the healthy food in the world won’t help if you’re not enjoying it. Eliminating pleasure activities, like eating or doing something we like, is often a way we try to control our lives. Instead of fixating on overhauling everything wrong in your life, Paola urges us to slow down, focus on one thing at a time, and enjoy the process. Paola Atlason is a Wholistic Nourishment Teacher based in New York City. She offers assessments, meal planning, dietary guidance, energy healing and self-care protocols to help her clients live happier, healthier, and freer lives.
