In 2010, she created Kjaer Weis, a luxury sustainable beauty brand offering refillable packaging and natural ingredients. Kirsten and I chat about her childhood growing up in Denmark and how that perspective guided her through the beauty world. Kristen also shares how she defines beauty, her vision and direction for the brand, and challenges she faced along the way. As an in-demand makeup artist based in New York, Kirsten found that people were sacrificing the health of their skin by using irritating, synthetic makeup.
