When it comes to mastering the fantasy hockey landscape and flexing your muscle as a true fantasy GM, sometimes it can be equally important to avoid the right players in a draft than take them. Or, even more crucial, take them in the right round of your draft. Today's episode features a look into the top overrated fantasy players in the NHL.

Flip and Steele take a look at a number of players that you should likely consider in later rounds of your draft, including the likes Buffalo Sabres intriguing talent Victor Olofsson or even budding young goaltender Spencer Knight of the Florida Panthers. Two players who have limited track records in the NHL but yet are getting a lot of respect in fantasy draft circles in rounds much too high.

Flip focuses on a number of players to potentially wait in your draft to target, including two top players on the Washington Capitals in veterans T.J. Oshie and Darcy Kuemper. The latter is only one year removed from backstopping the Stanley Cup Champion Colorado Avalanche and is sure for a regression-type season and Oshie, on the other hand, is coming off major injury and will be in a tough spot to make up for the loss of Nicklas Backstrom's offensive output. Buyer beware with these fantasy hockey assets.
