While the rest of the NHL's divisions seemed to be busy all summer long making moves and improving their rosters, the Central Division remained mostly the same with many of the franchises making minor moves. What will that mean for their overall success as well as the standings in the Central? Find out on today's episode of the Locked On Fantasy Hockey Podcast.

Both Flip and Steele think the bottom of the Central stays mostly status quo, as the Chicago Blackhawks and Arizona Coyotes are two teams to really be careful of when thinking of drafting some of their fantasy pieces. This Central division preview revolves around the top-5 teams in the division, both from a fantasy hockey point of view and just a general overall success in the standings perspective - that means the Dallas Stars, St. Louis Blues, Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators, and of course, Colorado Avalanche will be battling it out for the division title come April.

With that said, however, those teams are also the top-5 to be targeting when it comes to filling out your fantasy roster. Do not sleep on some of the under-the-radar fantasy targets that could be huge next season, such as: Avalanche centremen Alex Newhook, Predators rugged winger in Tanner Jeannot, and even with young sniper Matt Boldy for the Wild.
